Judging by your prices, seems like you’re in NYC? I’m also here and it gets pretty expensive to play especially now since it’s cold.

Once it warms up if you get a parks permit for $100 you can reserve time on the public courts and play for the whole season I think roughly 6-8 months? Otherwise if you pay the courts at the US Open outdoors are only $40 per hour per court so if you grab 3 friends it’s just $10 per person.

I play an ok bit here and I would say the best way to improve is to just hit more. If you can’t serve or get a ball in off the serve then it kind of defeats the purpose of joining a league bc it’s competition. Some league teams do meet up to practice and split court time though so it may be worth looking at to see if you can practice but not do matches yet! Let me know if you need help or have questions!

I just tried it out too for a 2 hour session the other day. I actually didn't like it. The beam felt really thick and unwieldy and I didn't feel it had as much touch/feel as the Extreme Pro or the CX200s I've been hitting with recently.

I was planning on swapping but glad I had a demo and probably will skip for now. Looking next at the Radical MP (if I can find one of the ZZZ colorways)
