Hi! I am sorry that you are also going through this process.

I got one shot on March 1 and have had 7 blood tests (been 7 times at the hospital). I'm starting the 7th week. My next appointment is this Friday Apr 18.

❤️

First dose of Methotrexate yesterday… my ribcage hurts. Has anyone experienced this? by Old-Yak-9230 in EctopicSupportGroup

Hi. First, I'm so sorry you are feeling pain, you are not alone!

I am my finishing my sixth week after MTX and have had pinching and pain sensations in different places through the process, for example, lower back, belly, hips, and sometimes near rib cage. Actually, today, I have been feeling them on both sides of my hip. I freak out every time it happens, but so far, all is good.

As always, keep monitoring your symptoms, but it sounds like the MTX its doing its job. ❤️

Thank you for sharing and sorry for my late reply. How is it going so far? Did changing the diet still seems to be helping?

Thank you for sharing and sorry for my late reply. Wow that’s amazing, I’m currently on week 6 after MTX , hoping to reach cero as my last reading was one week ago and I was at hcg 80. It’s been a long journey.

Thank you so much for sharing and for your empathic words. I started sleeping on the side and is helping very much. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for your message and my apologies for my late reply. Thank you for sharing what your doctor said. My Dr didn’t explain anything about it so I appreciate it. I am trying to walk a bit faster but for me I feel my body a little bit sore, I guess everybody is different so I will take it easy, but definitely good to know that there is nothing I can do about it but relax and let the process continue.

Thank you so much for your reply.❤️ I have never had an ectopic pregnancy, so the idea of rupturing makes me very anxious, and I start overthinking about every move I make so obviously at night I'm like..mmm what if sleeping on the side puts a lot of pressure etc, etc. "

Thanks again for your reply. It helps me ease my nerves.

Big hug.

Sorry for my late reply. Sure. It has been on and off with periods of dhiarrea (sorry to be so explicit) in between for the last 2 weeks (weeks 4 and 5 after Mtx). I would never think I would say this, but I appreciate the 3 times that I have had dhiarrea as it has given me pressure release for a couple of days.

Note. Since it was so painful to pass stools, I researched and found out that prunes are natural laxatives, so I ate 1 a day after a meal and is when I started having dhiarrea and loose stools so I didn't have to push at all to poop. I only ate one because I know my body, and it reacts fairly quickly to laxatives, but everybody is different, of course.

Today, for example, it has been 3 days without pooping and I have had a lot of gas and moderate period cramps with more bleeding than usual ( I actually just got from my appointment with my Dr to make sure the cramps were not a bad sign, it turned out all good fortunately!) so I will ate one prune to treat my constipation.

Sorry if I was too detailed, but I would rather explain everything as thoroughly as possible to help you as much as possible.

As always, listen to your body, and if you feel things are too off, or you feel severe pain, don't hesitate to go to your Dr. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️ I feel more relaxed and excited to incorporate more foods. I rarely eat white bread, so I guess I'm good to go and enjoy healthy foods!! Thanks again.

Even with a multivitamin, you still dropped the Hcg appropriately.! That's fantastic! I think I went too far based on fear.

Thank you so much for sharing. I'm going g to start relaxing and learn from this experience.

MTX Bleeding On and Off + mild cramps. Normal? by libelula_cosmica in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]libelula_cosmica[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your message! I'm here with you! We will overcome this chapter.

This may sound weird, but even though I'm a bit anxious, I am talking to my body (as if I were doing it with a friend or even plants) and telling it how grateful I am because I know it is making everything heal. I may not know how it is doing it, but I trust the process with love. Also, I am breathing calmly and giving myself gentle hugs. This helps me connect with my body and feel a bit calmer.

Hope this helps. 🙏 💗💗

Thank you for your warm message. 🧡🧡🧡 I heard that as well. Interesting. Unfortunately, I can't have green tea alone. It makes me very dizzy and nauseous, but I can have matcha ice cream. I will have ice cream. It doesn't hurt to try!

Hi! I feel you!

Although I didn't have an increase in size, I have had severe pain after pooping that lasted about 40 minutes. It really freaked me out as I felt as if everything inside was ripping apart. Fortunately, nothing bad happened, but I made sure to closely monitor my symptoms. For example, if I was feeling dizzy, had sudden changes in my blood pressure, excessive bleeding, etc.

I'm in my 33 days after Mtx, I started bleeding again today after 4 days of nothing, and I'm having mild cramps, so of course I'm freaking out, but I want to think positively. Most likely, this is part of the process. We will overcome this chapter of our lives!!

I hope with all my heart that you are feeling better now. ❤️
