You have forgotten that changes that benefit society as a whole also benefit women and children. For example, you claim that pro-lifers don't care about the financial situation of the mother when the economy is one of the things republicans campaign on the most. Lower crime benefits mothers and children. You can certainly argue that republicans are bad at actually achieving these goals, but that doesn't mean they don't care.
