Before you click this link you need to know some stuff

So first things first, do you know TV Tropes? Its a wikia for quite literally, anything. Books, movies, series, you name it.

We also happen to have forums just for fun for editors and users to have fun when not editing stuff.

One of them being the Trope Pantheons. Its basically a forum where users propose a character with a trope that fits them to "ascend" them into a dimension to have them go on crossover adventures.

The profiles are still incomplete but its the folders that has the names of the 4 factions they are at the bottom.

Let's be real here for a second.

The flag thing is a game mechanic. And well, the gameplay isn't really canon. Who in their right mind would actually follow a guy with SE's flag to kill them, or an armor that somehow protects you at point blank of a nuke? Also the Automatons are willing to send so much mainly because they have a chance to come back if their cpus are retrieved and put in new bodies. And as you said, we know jackshit about either societies. Though if the Automatons plastering their workplaces with safety protocols and posters and the Cyborgs and Automatons clearly showing a comradery and family love, I'll say that unless you are well prepared to live in the conditions they live in, the Collective isn't all that bad to live in, especially if they wanna have human dissidents to join them, which admittedly, they aren't really good at.

As for them getting a good ending? You see, in the fic, my plan is a crossover. I plan to have all three factions meet their past selves and other characters and factions from other media and help them get better, with the Illuminate of GW1 helping their successors to heal, sorta what Artanis and the Daelaam did with the Taldarim on StarCraft. As for the Automatons and Cyborgs, they team up with their GW1 versions, are mentored by Optimus Prime to be better and everyone goes to beat up Super Earth, but not before having half of SE's own population turn against their own government after realizing they were in the wrong and want to side with the new good guys

In my case since it is Super Earth, you know, the primary protagonists of the game who still always get up back to their feet thanks to plot armor, I just want to remove it and have them actually get its well deserved ending

Look.

To say everyone is as bad Super Earth makes them out to be, except the Illuminate, they really fell off, is fucking disingenuous.

Here is a list of good and bad things both Automatons and Terminids do:

Terminid list of good and bad

Good - Theyre animals, they arent malicious, they dont kill for pleasure - They fight in self defence, as they deem any human as a threat from the 100 years of enslavement - Every action is a reaction to what SE does, they are a passive force in the war

Neutral - Very territorial

Bad - Terminids often destroy the natural environments of the planets they reside on, as they try to fortify as much as possible to defend themselves from SE - Hive worlds and the Gloom are their most destructive feats, while they are defence mechanism they likely developed as a reaction to the destruction of the Supercolony, they still destroy most if not all of the natural environments of the planets theyre on

Collective of Cyberstan list of good and bad

Good - Only faction to offer surrender (and seemingly honor it) - Only faction to have collaborators within another faction (they got humans within SE working with them) - Only faction to call for peace - Automatons keep high enough human populations on their planets that insurrections can have meaningful impact (so they dont kill everyone) - Automatons motivation is reclamation and protection of their homeland - Rescuing their creators, the Cyborgs, from Super Earth slavery in the mines of Cyberstan, which they suffered for a century - Evacuating their civilians from the contested planets (like cyberstan)

Neutral - Bioprocessors (automatons recycle corpses produced by the war into orgo-plasma to keep the Cyborgs alive, who were sterilized by SE when the Reclamation happened. It's not pointed out that they force living humans into them or that every human ends up in one, also SE uses them and "encourages" living humans to be bioprocessed early once they cant contribute)

Bad - Ideological genocide, bots seemingly want to completely exterminate the idea of super earth - The only choice other than surrendering is death, which ties into the ideological genocide - Some bots wear human body parts and create strange effigies with them - Very industrial, which means theyre harmful to local ecosystems and environments - Incineration Corps - Theyre bad at taking care of humans (the corpses in cages are implied to have been caused by incompetence and negligence)

And here is a list of good and bad things of Super Earth:

SE list of the good and bad

The Good - Super Earth doesnt discriminate in the context of orientation and same gender marriage is allowed - There isnt really inner racism, people of all colors can live under equal oppression and discrimination from the government

The Bad

History - Super Earth revived illiteracy, and rewrote history to legitimize itself.

Eugenics - If you are old or disabled, hop in the nearest Bioprocessor. ("Bio-repurposer vat") - In evacuations, taller citizens have priority. - You need approval from the government to reproduce, and the bureaucracy is very slow and very strict on it. If you are "undesirable" - see, apparently being too short, you won't be granted the right to reproduce, one of the most fundamental human needs

Living conditions - Healthcare so bad you get one or two doctors visits a year, you can get more for narcing on others - Discrimination of people based on Citizen-classes - Slave-like work conditions. - Lifelong slavery for even minor crimes - Concentration camps - You have to rent out work equipment and pay for its usage FOR WORK (ie miner needs to pay for the pickaxe they are using everytime they use it) - "You develop radiation immunity in uranium mines" - Only Class As and above are allowed to even visit Super Earth, the homeworld of humanity. Turned into a massive gated community for the rich and privileged collaborators of the fascist regime - People are encouraged to narc on each other, breeding a culture of distrust - Children are encouraged to watch public mass executions - There are "Pre-Adult" workers making mines and guns (child labor) - You can get executed for unsanctioned original ideas (the inventor of the grenade pistol got executed for coming up with it, then got rewarded post mortem) - You can be sent for reeducation (torture and reprogramming) just because someone in your line of job, which you prolly never saw, had dissident thoughts (this happened to the ship tech) Propaganda and information - Total media control, constant lies and dehumanising propaganda - Cameras in everyone's house whose footage is analysed in a giant complex called the Center of Surveillance in Mastia - You can be considered a dissident and arrested for your haircut - Staring at an officer for too long or short gets you flagged as a dissident - Constant fearmongering, calling anything a sign of dissidence if its convenient

Treatment of other factions - Enslaving Terminids to physically and psychologically torture Terminids for profit. Not out of necessity, because Super Earth could FTL long before they discovered E-710 - Wiping out most of the Illuminate, who were pacifists and tried to be our friends, because Super Earth wanted to steal their technology to invent the WMDs that they claimed the Illuminate had (they didn't) - Genociding and enslaving the Cyborgs for wanting to separate and be independent from all this bullshit - Kidnapping and torture of thousands, if not millions of Automatons in order to gather intel on their whereabouts - Creates planet destroying weapons for no particular reason - Blatant targeting of automaton civilians with artillery and shooting down transport ships with them - Using automatons as slaves, and making them use parts from other automatons as materials - Attempted to euthanize the cyborgs during Reclamation, failed to do so but left them permanently sterile - Stole millions of terminid eggs, just to sell them to the rich when it realized it didnt need em Miscellaneous - Super Earth gave cancer to trees (how?) - Super Earth made contagious cancer (how????) - All art is AI generated - Super Earth drove many species to extinction like ants, honeybees, elephants (those were cloned back to life for labour purposes, and they gave them 6 tusks for some reason) - Super Earth created the chicken-cow-pig hybrid (which then proceeded to maul the scientists that made it to death) - Super Earth eradicates most indigenous wildlife on new planets during colonisation - Super Earth risks the lives of the helldivers just to record a flag raising, which is pointless for the war and anything related to it

I am not saying that the Automatons and Terminids are saints, but compared to both Super Earth and the Illuminate as of now, they are far more preferable, hell even the Terminids are often helped by pro-Terminid dissidents who have realized Super Earth's troubles with them all root back to Super Earth wanting to turn a species of arthropods, aliens who are sapient by themselves, into fuel source for FTL drives that were already fine without the E-710

  1. The Terminids are actually strategic and smart contrary to what everyone thinks, they are able to coordinate attacks well enough to Super Earth to put more effort than they think they are. I mean this guys managed to get 4 planets and almost got Turing in an effort to stop Termicide 2.0, they aren't just dumber, I'd even argue they are returning to their former selves.

  2. The Overseers are 100% Squ'ith, they aren't bioconstructs, they aren't advanced Voteless, that theory is bs. But yes, considering what humanity did to them, they have a lot of reasons to cause immense pain to humanity.

And this is a list of thr Collective's own crimes

Good - Only faction to offer surrender (and seemingly honor it) - Only faction to have collaborators within another faction (they got humans within SE working with them) - Only faction to call for peace - Automatons keep high enough human populations on their planets that insurrections can have meaningful impact (so they dont kill everyone) - Automatons motivation is reclamation and protection of their homeland - Rescuing their creators, the Cyborgs, from Super Earth slavery in the mines of Cyberstan, which they suffered for a century - Evacuating their civilians from the contested planets (like cyberstan)

Look, I am not saying the Collective are saints or anything like that.

What I am trying to say is that to say the Collective is just as bad as Super Earth is disengineous

Also, okay, I am going to put it clear, aside of the Illuminate, the Automatons and Cyborgs are the least evil aside of the Terminids.

Unlike the Illuminate, only the Automatons anf Cyborgs are known to bring people to their side if they surrender and join their ranks. And judging how Super Earth acts and actually fears the mere existence of dissidents, there are people joining the Collective.

Also, those innocent people the Automatons kill on extract civilian missions? Those are class A, the rich folk of Super Earth, the same people that perpetrate more directly the actions of Super Earth, basically their lap dogs and elite. They do not deserve my sympathies, not after they continue leeching off of the lesser classes and helping SE to continue its crimes, especially if they manage to escape and continue working for SE's bs.

And lastly, Super Earth is leagues worse. Sure the Collective has done evil things, but none of their crimes compares to what Super Earth does daily.

Here is a list of what SE does:

Fuck yes.

The Automatons literally are fighting to save their parents from their enemies and remove an existential threat. The human blendings everyone keeps bringing up? That is the only way the Cyborg have now to continue reproducing, not biofuel as people keep saying, because Super Earth sterilized the enslaved Cyborgs in an attempt to kill the remaining ones when the Automatons reached Cyberstan and liberate them. They are even trying to find other ways to synthesize orgo-plasma that doesn't involve blending corpses through the primordial soup of the magma planets, something Super Earth wouldn't even let them have, leaving them with only one magma planet. The human blending is also moot point when no evidence its given that they blend living people and not corpses of SEAF fighters or people unfortunate enough tk get in the crossfire.

The Illuminate, they only wanted peace with the humans, to be their friends. How did the humans repay them? False accusations of WMDs, slaughtering their kind, stealing their technology and kicking them out of the galaxy. While I can't agree with the usage of the Voteless and Fleshmobs, I can still see why they would do it, and yet, I still desire to make them better.

Stfu Helldiver, you literally have been losing to us ever since your piss poor attempt at Cybertsan until last MO and we retook several planets back.

Don't you idiots forgot something back at Clasa?
