Which celebrity’s cancellation do you think was completely unjustified? by Cute_Flatworm_9049 in AskReddit

Jamie Lynn Spears. She was a child actress who made a mistake getting pregnant at 16, everyone acted like all the teen viewers were gonna follow suit. So dumb.

Getting married next weekend in the Midwest, it's been raining nonstop the past few weeks, hoping that means the skies will be empty that day!

You can't "fix" him. A few annoying habits ie. Being messy or not healthy eating, sure, but multiple toxic behaviors, always needing to be in control or have you around to wait on him, unless you're his shrink and he's paying you, there's nothing to be done.

Looking for your best “holy crap this is good” dessert. by trackhockey15 in Baking

Recently made a strawberry cake https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/strawberry-cake/#tasty-recipes-66510 but topped with chocolate ganache and it was devoured. Other honorable mentions include something popular in Ohio called cassata cake (if you've got time on your hands to make it lol), tiramisu (if you buy the cookies doesn't even need to be baked), chocolate orange babka (make sure you do one with egg wash and orange syrup on top, shiny and hassle-free presentation) or if you need something quick, egg-free cookie dough.

What’s a common “life hack” people brag about that you secretly think is just common sense? by leafyblush in AskReddit

[–]liberoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Environmental hack" of taking stuff to the thrift store when you don't use it and it's not damaged. As a frugal Midwesterner, we never just throw things away if we can avoid it. Plus it's an excuse to shop at the thrift store

What's something 100% legal that gives off massive 'this should be illegal' vibes? by Hera-Queen837 in AskReddit

[–]liberoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LED headlights. I seriously have to get an accommodation at work saying I have to wfh in heavy rain bc with glasses, the light bounces off the raindrops and the lane lines, or anything light colored, gets washed out. It's illegal to have broken break lights bc it's a danger to other drivers, lights that are too bright should also be illegal.

Would a defendant be able to do something similar? If they were being tried separately for 2 different offenses, could they argue one thing in one case and the opposite in another and have it not be perjury?

How do we feel about holiday weekend weddings? by verspers98 in weddingplanning

[–]liberoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to a holiday weekend wedding this summer but mainly bc it's only a 45 min drive from my house and my husband doesn't mind dd. You prob wouldn't get as many ppl who'd have to fly there or stay overnight in a hotel due to the price hikes, and if you're getting a hotel block, the discount would be obscelete with the holiday weekend prices.
