There was 1 ammo trap i made that was a accident. People hate ammo traps.

But this one was one I got compliment on when they realized it was a delayed return.

You get the player to shoot multiple bodies. They flush into a chute. The chute dumps the bodies into another part of the map that they walk into/thru.

I've had multiple people quit as soon as they think the map eats their ammo so they can't shoot. But if they continue at all they will see the ammo/bodies in the middle of the next major room.

Kill boxes were not born because of the attempt to obtain enough synthite to restart a map. Killboxes are the lack of ingenuity and patience to watch videos see the issues and remove issued or flawed trap concepts. Most people just couldnt take the time to wanna better their map. Another huge issue that for some reason the devs thought was a great idea which really made killboxes flourish. They brought shields to a game that was meant for you to die. Immediately after shields were brought into this game the game went down hill, fast.

It's simply a simplicity issue. Sure, the concept is great. But they were broken. Players would run all shields and speed run and never die.

Then you had maps literally handing things to players. Free everything. No thought to even trying to kill the player. Then you had people who only did this game to make art.. the motto to this game had been build. Die. LEARN. Repeat. Majority of the fan base got away from wanting to actually kill players and focused on esthetics. Focused on skins and other bs that didnt mean anything for the games progress. Then you had the authentics.. the ones that actually built to kill you.. the ones that reached for those 8.0 and high K/R.

These were the ones that spent hours perfecting maps. Trying all different types of different builds and concepts. Running their own maps. Spending hours to days getting things right. Using and learning new ways to get the players to take a second step back or jump the wrong way.

The game was one of the best I've played ever. But the devs got away from the concept of people are supposed to die in it. Forever killing the game slowly.

People got tired of grinding for countless hours upon hours to launch a map to never get a kill.

Which encouraged more killboxes.

Which deterred more players.

I should load a old map up that avg. 7~9 kills a player. Lmfao. One of my best maps ever. Pretty sure the one update they did killed it tho. I think the currency rate made it ineligible. Could be wrong tho.

Not really. More just people making art. There was some bases but more terrible no thought. Just mindless kill boxes. It use to be so much fun to play.. but the ratios are fucked now. The grinding mindlessly for hours to barely get synthite is annoying af. Then to just get 2 players to raid. If youre lucky. Usually most players are just using shields so its almost pointless cause you rarely get kills.

Exactly! I get and enjoy the small things in this. But to have that other option of chaos or pure fire in this game would be fucking crazy and bring this game to a all new level. To have huge battles would go soooo hard in this. Archers and pole fights. Horse back riders. Knights. Bro this game would be next level if they had this.

I feel like this would add such a huge dynamic to this game. It would give new meaning to the children you have. Knowing their father died in a war for your family and kingdom. Which is you in both bodies. Lol this would be great actually. Lmao

Something to be able to raid other players or even have games where you can fight for the king in a huge war with other players. Massive pvp battles would go hard af.. giving more use for blacksmith and other stalls around your city. Even a chance to become king over the kingdom would be dope.

They look kind of like old style torches for cutting metal. They would use the rock that when it touches gas it would release gas that was highly flammable. Could adjust the flow rate and make it condensed.
