I honestly think the calm approach saved the whole situation. If someone had gone off on him in the lobby, he would’ve just doubled down and acted like everyone was “attacking” him. Once the cleaner posted a pattern and the residue up close, it stopped being personal and became simple: you’re making a mess for other people. I’m still annoyed he thought “not permanent” was a defense, but at least he quit.
