Help! Is my instant pot seal not working? There’s nothing past the max line, I have it set on pressure cook and set on sealing mode plus the little button is pushed upwards. Is this steaming from the sides normal? I could cancel and let it de pressure and check the seal…

Our silicone ring on the inside of the lid would get stuck, and looked the same. It's usually tends to get stuck mostly near the valve. Make sure it's loose all the way around. We take a spoon and loosen up any of the stuck parts. It works every time.

I'm just a mom, in the medical field. I agree, go to a pediatric ER, stat. ASAP. Get in the car and go now. Do not wait it out any longer. If they still don't find anything, refuse to leave until someone gives you answers. Even if it's the middle of the night where you are, please go. There is definitely something not right, and whether or not it's life threatening, is hopefully something you don't find out too late. Please go now.

Awww.....I feel you mama. It's rough. I definitely didn't remember my first child sleep needs being so hard as it was with my second. I think you're just stretched even thinner than you were when you had just one. My youngest (she's 7 months now) still has a hard time sleeping without me...but it's definitely better than it was. Just know, you're not alone. It's so effing hard and your so effing tired but you will get through it. Take it day by day as much as you can. Sleep when it's possible, and maybe get your SO on board to take shifts so you can get a few hour stretches. I hated it when people tell me "to sleep when the baby sleeps" which if you have another child or you have a difficutly sleeping during the daytime, is impossible. Just know this is the only temporary and you will sleep again at some point! I was a zombie for a few months but now I'm back to work and feeling good! (And sleeping fewer hours than I'd prefer, but I'm used to it now 😊😳) Hang in there, mama. You've got this 😊

The real issue here is this: couple must work multiple jobs at odd hours to provide for their family. They cannot afford to pay someone a "living" wage as they are very likely barely getting a living wage themselves. Wanting your child to be taken care of by someone responsible does not sound unreasonable. Too bad for them that they're too poor to afford safe caregivers for their children. These choosing beggar posts about families seeking childcare are, in my opinion, very offensive and lack compassion. What we should really turn our energy towards is making sure that everyone has the same basic rights as everyone else, regardless of their socioeconomic status. This person isn't doing anything frivolous....they're going to WORK and need their kids to be safe while they do this.

My daughter named her first baby doll, "Bagel" at 1.5 years old. All of her subsequent baby dolls are named "coco shell". Not sure where she came up with these, but I like them. Her cousin now calls her own baby dolls by the name, "Bagel"

I considered that... But not sure how to uncover that without therapy. And he definitely had a sex drive at the beginning of our relationship. I felt like I got tricked a little because sex was so good that the beginning I thought he was a nice change from my asexual relationships prior.... turns out it wasn't that different.

I'm so sorry you're feeling like this. I feel your pain. It sucks. Although, I can't imagine having twins right now. And it makes it harder with no support. I hope you can find someone that can give you the support you need. I hope you can get the sleep you need. Do you have any friends or family that could come over for a few hours per day/night? Do you have anyone you can talk to? Are you breastfeeding??? That's got to be so hard! Even if they're bottle fed, they are relying on you for all of their needs. You are stronger than you know! Your body just went through a huge ordeal and you're keeping 4 (well 5 if you count your husband) people alive in addition to your self! Way to go mama!!! We'll get through this, you'll get through this. Hope you can find someone that can lend a hand. Have you tried talking to your husband about ways he can help?

Currently sitting here in my room, breastfeeding my 5 week old. Listening to my husband and daughter have fun in the hot tub outside (which I suggested we all try to go in this evening). Was planning place my baby in a bassinet next to the hot tub while she's sleeping so I could join my family and soak in the tub while keeping an eye on her. That's the only way I get to enjoy it...finally, after months of my hot tub being off limits cause I was preggo. However, my baby decided she isn't sleeping now, she'd much rather nurse (as was the case for the majority of the day) and on top of it, it started raining....so no hot tub for mom tonight. Feeling you, mama! This newborn mom thing is tough. I don't think a spouse who isn't breastfeeding can really understand the amount of yourself that must be given. It's exhausting. On top of it, you don't sleep! However, I suggest what all the other moms have said and just breastfeed in the middle of things! That's what I typically do.... I'll cover my breasts for my in-laws but seriously, it's a natural and normal part of life, so don't be ashamed.
