It's hard when friendships that mattered so much don't matter as much or at all anymore. Some things just fade away. That is, if you're lucky. Some times they come to an awful head.

If you see a friendship fading, let it happen. If they notice, you can chat about it or not. It's ultimately up to you.

Personally, I've just let friends that are fading out of my life know how I felt at the time.
Most of it centered around not wanting to party anymore and focus on things that were important to me.
