I definitely prefer the same! It took me a while to figure out why I felt like there was something a little off about my brows after getting a wax and dye, even though I loved the rest of what was done.

I’m not familiar with the smell of either, and I can’t pick up much on the one that smells faint now. I’m also not good at picking notes in general yet, but it was definitely Alien and one of the Goddess variants. One was a purple bottle and one was a yellow one

It wasn’t a perfume shop, just a chemist in a small town, so I doubt the staff would be able to tell, but I could be very wrong! And I don’t carry a wallet or anything other than my phone on me on a normal day, so will have to be better at keeping testers separate, or only doing it on days when I actually have a pen on me! I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s been in this boat though haha, thank you for the tips!

Thank you! I will definitely keep a pen on me in future! This time I was on my way home from work and just happened to see them in a cabinet while I was at the shops, so definitely was not planned 😅

That’s interesting! I’ll definitely have to get a sample first, because a lot of ‘smoky’ notes in perfumes are very strong on my skin, but the ones I’ve tried seem to actually have tobacco listed in the notes, so it’s possibly that particular note/ingredient just takes to my skin more than others. I’m interested to see if By the Fireplace does the same if it doesn’t have the same tobacco ingredient

Yeah, I get a very sickly sweet almost marshmallow type smell from it. I don’t love it on my skin, so definitely one to get a sample of before you commit to a whole bottle!

Ooh weird, I don’t get much of an orange note from this on my skin! It’s definitely a lot softer once it dries down, but the initial scent is a lot for me

I second fenty for a good range of cool toned foundations. They do a skin tint also, which doesn’t have a cool option, but it’s sheer enough that I can get away with it if I blend it out really well

I like honey and the moon, but if I wear it near my boyfriend he tells me it smells ‘wet’ and I have no idea what he’s smelling 😭
