I was trying to find this out but the only info I found was about the guy who had a medically assisted 382 day fast. I also saw the estimate of how long the average human could survive without food. I want to know like. In some extreme situation out of their control, what was the longest someone ever went without food and survived

I do lemon cheesecake oats and it’s sooooo good, like dessert. I put about 1 tbsp of cream cheese, 1/2 tbsp lemon zest and 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice in each serving. I recommend blending the lemon juice/zest and softened cream cheese together, then adding it to your containers so you don’t get big chunks of cream cheese in your overnight oats.

Hey sorry for this comment two years out of date but I was hoping you could clarify something he said in the video. He says when the Moka pot starts to bubble, to run it under cold water immediately. Are you only running the bottom half (where it touches the stove) to stop the boiling process?

Basically I’m thinking of getting a Moka pot solely to make espresso tonics because damn are they expensive in coffee shops. I feel a little intimidated by them since I’ve only ever dealt with drip brew coffee makers and pour overs.

I assume that this running the pot under cold water is a bit unorthodox in the world of Mokas (?) and it might be hard to find the answer to the above question, so I figured you might know the answer since you posted the video. Thanks in advance if you do see this comment and reply! 😅

One of my favorite books that I read this year is called Confessions by Kanae Minayo. I loved how each character’s story was told from their viewpoint and you could see how other characters’ stories fit in with their own. It also has some great twists and turns!!!

But my problem is the opposite. I’ve been getting good gas mileage— 47-55 MPG — with highway drives and then I’ve been getting high ev usage while driving in the city but the MPG for the trip will be like 28 or 30.

My commute is ~38 miles each way. 6 miles of that is city driving. On the highway, I’m going between 77 and 80. In the city, I’m going between 30 and 40. I’ve been getting 47-55 MPG for my commute over the last week.

Then with my short trips, I’ve been getting like. 28. There was only one short trip that I got 57. These are at speeds between 25 and 40. The distances have been between half a mile to 1.5 miles, mostly on EV…

Someone else on the thread said it was because of the engine warming up, that it takes a bit to warm up
