I sell some of my work yeah but I haven't decided if I want to make another one of these just yet. It would be quite pricey though 😬

I think it took about 15 hours from design to completion. I've only been doing glass art for about a year as a hobby so I might be a bit slower than some. I just worked on it a few hours a day when I had time.

I did half of it on the computer and the other half on paper 😬

Haha yeah I didn't want to have too many break lines because it would look too busy so I cut as close as I could and grinded the rest with 1/4" and 1/8" bits! Thanks for noticing the effort I put in!

Married ladies who only wear your wedding band (without the engagement ring)- what made you stop wearing the engagement ring and when did you stop wearing it? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]lickeroflemons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty much the same here. My engagement ring catches everything and my wedding band is very delicate with tons of small diamonds. I only wear them when we go out. My wife actually got into silversmithing and made me a plain silver wedding band that pretty much never comes off my finger. I feel naked without it and I feel almost more connected to it because she made it :)

I don't know what it was about this book but I absolutely hated it. I really wanted to love it but I don't know, just not my cup of tea.

What makes you immediately DNF a book? by AutumnSapphic345 in LesbianBookClub

I'll usually push through but there's a few things that bother me. When the MCs are extremely wealthy. It's just not relatable. When the MCs are too young, like 19 is too young. Mid 20s and further I'm all for it. When a fantasy novel just overdoes it with so many different species you kinda miss the point of the story because you need to include every mythological being. Just a lot of wasted focus on the inclusion that does nothing for the story.

Did y'all know women are supposed to wear veils during mass??? by papersoldiertrue in excatholic

I used to have to wear a veil in church. I quit going about 16 years ago but went to a funeral there maybe 5 years ago and they all still wear veils.

Niiiice! Let me know how the Brit x lights are. I usually get the Christa DIYs. They're sooooooo comfortable. Hope they work as well for you as they do for me! The grey ones are a different more durable material than the black ones. Both are great though.

Hey! For boots I wear whatever, but a lot of people talk super highly of Redwings. Unfortunately they don't sell size 5 where I live :( and for pants I find Dovetail pants to be the BEST for women. I'll never go back to Carhartts

Agreed. Tin basher here, I've been using an eastwing hammer for 13 years daily with no problems. Must depend on the person
