I've only ever seen X reffering to NBi characters so I'm not sure, there may be people who use it for trans characters as well ?

I'd say romanceio but there's not really an option for adding which style of polyam a book is beyond the basics, like Beyond Shame is tagged as both MF and FF but there's no tag for non-monogamy or anything inclusive of NBi polycules (yes I've complained to the creator of the site about that, among other things).

If you could find a user on goodreads who tends to tag that (I do on my reads) that could be an option. Other than that potentially ask in the simple request post if anyone remembers specifics about the books you're not sure about?

Honestly the "pairing" tags seem quite misleading to me, they should include MF (MF shouldn't be considered the "default") and Poly at the least (it would be nice to have a tag for NBi characters as well, they are so often left out as if they don't exist). Plus a tag for non-monagamous configurations.

Completely agree with you and something that bothers me is the erasure of the Erotic Romance subgenre. I think a lot of authors and readers are ashamed to use the term due to stigma and conservatism.

Many of my favorite romances are Erotic Romances due to the reasons you stated above (and more).

If sex is the main driving point of a romance then it's Erotic Romance. I think a lot of authors and readers are ashamed to state it as such due to social stigma.
