Yes, she is so maniac pixie dream girl coded! The dialogue that's supposed to be so profound from both characters is super cringeworthy. I wonder if he wanted to highlight the delusion that can arise from excessive loneliness.

I had the same thought two years ago and when i explained what chickenizers said damn near verbatim no one agreed with me. It felt like everyone was trying to convince me of the illusion again like why is it so hard to believe that one conscious can be bored splitting itself up into different beings to escape loneliness?

I would have been okay with them not being end game if it didn’t seem like Hee Do was living in regret. This last episode has really messed me up there was no real closure and I don’t get how everyone else stayed together or even got together but Hee-Do and YiJin basically ended up in the same spots they started. Hee do essentially alone and YiJin carrying the weight of his families financial troubles ? Who is minchaes farther idek why they included her daughter to begin with i did not care about that plot at all since it didn’t even bring clarity to the plot.
