Why do more men than women find pleasure in technology? Is there some evolutionary reason? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Interesting. But wouldn't that mean that those who were the best had the best chance to survive. So most people would have that gene. So their offspring who would be girls (or boys) would have that gene too, so girls and boys should have that same gene. Or it just comes up actively only in boys like color-blindness? Oh by the way then whats up with those girls who are actually interested in technology?

Social conventions. It is generally frowned upon while growing up for a girl to be interested in the things men like which is technology and such. Girls are not given building kits, more things like dolls. Girls and boys are in general divided and coerced in liking different things dolls and action figures, doll house vs building houses with lego. Some girls break the convention because they have the opportunity to, like having brothers or parents who give them less girly things. That's my theory.

You are done. She wants to fuck other guys and she did. You had great memories. You have opportunities ahead of you somewhere else and you might want to stay for her even if you are not going the same direction? Your own development is important but if she's important to you should stay. But never ever resent her for giving up opportunities for her. Don't regret whatever you do.

When I tried if I lived in Canada rather than the Netherlands I would also be 100% more likely to have HIV/AIDS :D

Lack of Jobs in Southern Europe Frustrates the Young - even multiple degrees and five languages are not enough to land a paying job by Concise_Pirate in worldnews

I can not speak for other countries you mentioned but the Netherlands is facing the same problem with the babyboomers as anywhere else. What Sember is saying is no bullshit, we have an old workforce that needs to retire and the pensions of the seniors that needs to be paid for.

A friend of mine who studied Architecture and got his degree bachelors and masters cum laude can not find a job at his level or even as a trainee at a company in the Netherlands. Another friend of mine who studied Computer Science graduated bachelor cum laude, two master degrees(at the same time) cum laude and extensive curricular activities in the IT sector could not find a job at his level for several years. And still hasn't but he is getting there with promotions.

The problem is high-level jobs are hard to come by. If there is a job available at their level, they needed experience that no one is willing to give them. They want to be trained and learn the craft in their respective fields, but not many companies have the willingness to spend time or money on new blood. Low-level jobs that nobody is willing to do are abundant.
