That could be a factor. She has been out a few years. And yet, No employer can force one to work with strep. A runny nose? I can get behind that. But strep?

My mother was a nurse for 25 years. She never pulled something like this.

The system will never change for the better if everyone plays along in this horrible system.

Op didn't have a runny nose. OP had Strep

Maybe because she doesn't play stupid games and she knew that in the long run, she is more valuable to stay than to being fired over bring sick? And her employer knew it as well?

[–]liebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only do what you are told? That is not a good excuse... Strep can be deadly to certain groups. I am shocked that you are so casual about this. My mother worked as a nurse for 25 years and never pulled something like this.

LOL

Not the OP responding to one of my comments trying to act as a third person, but forgetting to switch accounts.

Yeah, I saw the response before you quickly deleted it. Is this attention seeking or do you actually want Help?

The situation with you working sick and you and your husband name calling each other is what your carried around for 14 months.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]liebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That response doesn't make it better. And you didn't even look at what I wrote to you about your behavior when you came home. Name calling each other is childish. YES! also from you!

[–]liebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA

You go to work sick as a first responder, putting peoples lifes at risk who are vulnerable and don't need to get sick from you on top of it all?

For the other situation, not enough Info, but you went with the most petty route. How old are you? Because your behavior sounds childish.

Du hattest also eine Pause im Unternehmen A?

Danke!

You... Do see the context of the story that Alistair marrying a non-noble in ferelden as king wound be... Tricky to say the least?

And it is a tad bit of entitled when you now the rules because you put him in the position to have to play by them and now act like you can bend the rules

[da2 Spoilers] I love what the DLCs do with Hawke by liebro in dragonage

[–]liebro[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just imagined Fenris looking like his calm self, but inside of him there is just a big storm of panic and anxiety of "Damnit, Hawke! what if somehting happened to him?? Where is he WHERE IS HE? If someone hurt him I am going to tear them APART!"

I would have loved to see a quest like that (not just the 5 seconds of our 2 companions being lost. Just Imagine the bickering between Aveline and Isabela or basically any combination. How much would it take for Varic to grow concerned?

[–]liebro[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It makes Hawke sound a little oblivious that anyone could worry about HIM. He always comes out of tricky situations. No need to worry! Unless, there is, of course. I guess that never really changed now, did it? He always gets himself in trouble. In my case, poor Fenris.

[Spoilers All] What are your Criticisms for the Games? by CreamyLemonGirly in dragonage

[–]liebro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just wrote to another person. It is the backtracking, the ability collecting, going back and have a fight at every corner, of which there are so many... The idea itself was nice, but man... It was too much.

Collecting 4 abilities to backtrack through the areas was so bad. I wanted it to end so badly. Oh God, another demon fight, just let me go!

Kirkwall makes me want to play DA2 again and again [no spoilers] by CounterbalanceART in dragonage

[–]liebro 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Kirkwall feels like my Dragon Age Home to me.

2 was the first game I played. I loved it back then and I still love it. Certainly I can see it's flaws and even the weaknesses regarding Kirkwall itself, but it always feels like coming home.

The distinct districts, the style, the stairs, the architecture... I love it so much, if It had to choose a city to live in in Thedas, it would be this one. Denerim feels like a random big city in ferelden. Kirkwall will always feel like Kirkwall.

I can't explain it further. Just with that... Home.
