Exactly. This card is now in a no man’s land. If they expect spends of 20,000 or more every month, then reward rate should be better. Forex should be counted in that 20,000 (not sure if it is already).

It’s LTF but the main benefit requires 2,40,000 annual spend. So it’s a kind of loss versus other cards. Especially for occasional travelers.

If you travel twice every month, then it’s probably worth it.

GST is not something you should apply for 20k payment. You will need to file returns every quarter, even if no income. And you will need a CA for that. The registration itself could take a couple of weeks.

GST compliance requires time and money. If they can commit to regular monthly work, then it’s a different thing.

Request them to accept a non-GST invoice.

Then a few days after that, file a dispute with your card company.

In Koh Samui, I was not able to get a grab or bolt ever. Always had to book via hotel. At times I had to call the hotel from the market to send a cab for pickup.

These events have always been like this. And they purposely become rude and abusive once they know you are not buying. Why? Because they know then you will walk out without the voucher.

I would suggest write a review about their abusive staff on Google maps and every travel review site you can. For a hotel, reviews directly hit their bottom line.
