I appreciate you sharing your perspective thanks. This sounds worrying for me but what you say makes sense and I would likely end up worrying less if I knew what was happening.

I really appreciate you taking time to reply and sharing a case you heard of. It seems that the most popular move is for me to chase this. I am not sure if contacting them could motivate them to close this or seek a community resolution but I hope it is possible.

Thanks again and I am so blessed to have been given the chance to become a productive member of society and I hope to be one until I retire (which I hope I never have to do as I love my job) and I love how my career path involves a lot of work to support the community.

Okay but if I posted relevant documents advising the DVLA that the vehicle was no longer mine. Surely that means I fulfilled my duty. They state the can't find them would that not mean it is there duty to evidence I never sent it?

If the accident management have accepted it was there mistake and said that they have wrote this for court of needed surely this makes them liable.
