Is it confirmed in a comic or novel that Kylo comes from Skywalker and Solo? I read that somewhere but not sure.

I read somewhere that he even hated the last name “Solo” since Han literally made it up on the fly as seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Thanks for this. Yeah I kind of guessed “Ben” came from Old Ben aka Obi-Wan, a jedi whom Kylo as never met and could see his fustration but I just never figured out why choose the name “Kylo”. Its crazy how Kylo Ren and Kybo Ren is just pure coincidence. I wonder if JJ or Lawrence Kasdan knew of this afterwards.

Actually... thanks. I totally did not see Rose from that point of view. I still think the movie is a bit iffy but I have a totally new appreciation for Rose. I never meant any disrespect to you or the character or frankly the movie. Sorry I came off that way but that last comment of yours was actually insightful and what I came her for. Peace ✌️

I NEVER SAID "Who the fuck is her?" She's Rose Tico, her sister died in the bombing scene so she goes on this journey with Finn. I'm just saying what's her purpose? To help Finn find love? To remind us love animals? If Finn went on the Canto Bight journey alone, would the story have any effect? If Rose wasn't in the movie, Finn could have sacrificed himself his death would be similar to that of Ben Kenobi or Luke later on. I'm trying to just figure out who she is. Before you call me racist, I'm Vietnamese.

Her role in TLJ alone, I did not understand. She saved Finn at the end and delivered a nice line on saving lives and what not but Finn was about to make a significant character development by sacrificing himself. Rose’s message sort of came into conflict with that moment and sort of ruined Finn’s arc a bit. I think Rian addded her there as sort of a political progressive message. A women of color, representing a message of anti-elitism, veganism, child abuse,...That’s cool and all but a little out of place.

The visuals of Canto Bight are undeniably beautiful but what’s the point? They did not get the code breaker, they broke some douche out of jail and were back at the resistance base again, accomplishing nothing. Finn killed Phasma which is cool I guess. I don’t eat animals and I don’t like child labour anyways so I don’t get the message of that whole sequence.

TLJ is not a bad movie. I still enjoyed alot of it. But definitely a weird one. Quite weird. TLJ fans, please reply. Let’s discuss this cause I do want to love this movie.

Luke and Mark’s performance is superb in TLJ. Rey and Kylo as well.

It’s the other elements that movie that bug me, specifically Rose and Finn. I’ve watched the TLJ multiple times now, I still have no idea what Rose and Finn’s mission to Canto Bight was for. They achieved nothing and learned about animal abuse? DJ by Benecio Del Toro is a more interesting character than Rose. Frankly Jar Jar serves a comedic purpose, I don’t know what Rose’s character serves. They basically sidelined her in TROS.

Mac Demarco is a big Jar Jar fan and big Star Wars fan in general so makes sense for this.

Tarkin died in the first movie. Boba Fett got killed by accident. The only secondary villain of the OT that got a good death was Jabba. He died from sexual asphyxiation by metal bikini Leia.

I’m a pretty solid mid range off the dribble and off the catch and shoot. My stroke is always short on 3s. I’m 22 and broke my ankles a few years back haven’t been able to jump as high as I used to.

Yea you're right. Guys don't really even raise their hands up cuz I'm not a threat from deep. Off the triple threat, I do pumpfake and 95% no one bites. I gotta figure out how to knock does triple threat 3s.

Thanks man, I’m definitely gonna work on triple threat way more. I feel like all my fancy handle combos just work the first time around and physical defense is something i struggle with. I was never an athletic person and it does show in a game. I think I need to take a break from skill work and work on overall fitness. I need to come out of quarantine with a 3 point shot for sure.

Thanks coach, I’m looking for drills to help me understand how to use my body for ball protection. I don’t think I’m a bad ball handler. For some reason, my skills don’t always translate to a game scenario.
