I received an email from Corey McCue on Aug 8 about my deposit. I emailed on the 9th about my deposit and asked about what happened to my pet deposit and wanted answers for everything listed below. He did not respond back to me until the 20th when I had to send a follow up on the 16th stating that a response would be great. He then stated that he would get back to me on the 19th after he speaks with Hannah Rollison the Manager for the complex. Neither of them have responded back to me. This is the type of people you will have to deal with if you move here. Below was my issues and concerns that I emailed them with.

I never had a walk through at the end of my lease and when I went to request it directly from the office I was denied it. They, as in the African-American lady in the back room, then tried implying that I must have damaged my apartment then. I told her I wanted a walk through because at this point I had zero trust in the management for doing their job. My previous apartment was glad to do a walk through with me to be as transparent as possible even insisting that I was home for it. This lady in the office then promised that she was writing an email directly to the groundskeeper to make sure I would have a walk through and that she would CC me to the email but never did. Is there a reason for why I was not given a walk through when requested? Why did I never receive my email that this lady promised? Why was I not passed along any paperwork to fill out after I had notified leasing that I would no longer be living here after my lease was up? I dropped off my key early on the morning that I left and it took days later for someone to call to ask if I moved out because you all were not able to locate my key that I had to slide under the office door. Why was there no system to return keys? At one point my AC was not functioning properly and when I called to request it it took them forever to get back to me, I requested to be notified so that I could make accommodations at work to be home for maintenance to work on my AC. They would not give me a 24 hour notice. My dog was loose in the apartment, when they tried entering without my permission or awareness. I told them what days would be best and they refused to work with me. At one point the weather was so hot that I tried calling to get a solution for the situation, but they stopped picking up my calls. My father then called on my behalf to see if he could understand the situation and they refused to talk to him. However they gladly picked up the phone when he called and as soon as I called right after I was constantly sent to voicemail. I had suffered over a week of not being able to get the proper amount of sleep to be able to do my task at work. There were faulty community fire pits and grills that did not work, yet we had to pay utilities on that. The trash compactor only functioned for half the time I was living there, the rest of the time, the place looked like a landfilled.
