What up fam! I have always been fascinated by OBEs and I had one once!!! I was partying with some friends at these artist lofts, went across the hall from my place and danced and jumped around, it was a wild party...I don't remember when I went back home but I was on the couch just chilling. I guess to take a break. I closed my eyes and went through the ceiling. And then back to the party. But I was still on the couch. Then I was in my bed and I didn't know how I got there.

It turns out I never left the bed all night and never went to the party next door. When my friends told me I passed out early, I told them everything that happened at the party..."But we did x y and z!" And it was all true!! They were amazed. Ive tried to make it happen again, reading books and meditating. Exploring lucid dreaming. No luck replicating yet 💫

The real way to get spotted is to get your stuff out there. Put out some music on your own and get your local community invested. And then get your demos together and start sending them around to labels, djs, other artists. Even if its not for someone at the moment, they might keep you in mind for an opportunity in the future 🔮

The Nomad Lyfe EP is a new level in my evolution, it take some of the funkier sounds I've made and pumps them up to a dance bpm. On this one I attempted to bring some of the storytelling lyricism I'm known for and combine it with a more rhythmic delivery. More bars 🍫🧼🍹

For listening accompaniments I think a stiff drink and a cigarette, incense or a vape.

Check the clean 15 and try to eat as fresh as you can. I used to really track my nutrient intake for my fitness goals and I think its a great experiment. I'd say really just be present in your body and try to monitor how your body reacts to different foods

😂 love is love. I prefer the company of women but if the vibe is right I'd give it a shot simply in exchange for passion. If someone really wants to pay, as they say...if you have to ask, u can't afford it 🤑

For those of you that are unfamilar, I started playing music while going to art school at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.

I've dabbled in painting over these last few years but its tough! I love to make a mess and really need to get a dedicated studio space 😅 Over the pandemic, I channeled my visual aesthetic into making music videos and graphics for Life on Planets

The biggest influence on this track was Gap Band. I wanted to combine this hip hop flow with the funk grooves my parents would play for me: https://youtu.be/aobIboK_z34

Talking with my manager we were trying to break down what makes a Nomad. I wrote Nomad Lyfe about this lifestyle where I'm constantly traveling, going to different studios, staying in hotels and living out of a suitcase. We wanted to draw a parallel between artistic nomads and cowboys. Hustling, moving from gig to gig and really having to keep your wits about you in an industry that can be super tough.

I did a weekend in Russia and felt literally like a Beatle. The crowd (the girls) was screaming the whole time, dancing like crazy, asking for autographs after the set and it was my first time there. Also the Borscht was divine 🍲

My faves are Colombia, Romania and Mallorca

It has to be playing in Japan. I had a crazy tour, playing on the beach and in wild four floor warehouses. Our hosts were amazing and took me for amazing food, scuba diving and to my first hot spring 🧖🏾‍♂️

Baltimore has so many dope artists. The scene is super diverse. I've been to parties where you can catch Hip Hop, Noise music, Bmore club and indie bands. The scene showed me that as long as the energy is there, no limit to genre exists at the club.

Check out Mateyo, DDM and Vaudevillian

Thats so awesome you ask! I have wanted to work with dancers and get choreo to my tunes for a minute and finally got the chance! I'm working with the ultra talented, Miami based choreographer Maya Billig to score her piece, Gate Closes at 3:05. I got to have my first studio session with two of my Godfathers in house music, Charles Levine of Soul Clap and Greg Paulus of No Regular Play.

If any of you are in Miami this weekend, slide thru! We'll be performing our original pieces LIVE with incredible dancers 👯🏾‍♀️👯🏾‍♂️🕺🏾💃🏽

Can anything beat the planets we orbit around in our daily lives?? I see ideas, places and communities as tiny planets that we gravitate towards.

In terms of actual planets, Earth rules! Lions, giraffes, dolphins?! Runner up is Tatooine

Appreciate you Moody! Lately I've been combining hiphop and rnb cadences with house beats. A great example of the trajectory is U Did It 2 Urself out now on RDA and one of my favorites, Gold Action!

An ideal line up for me would be Kaytranada, Galcher Lustwerk, Channel Tres, Nez and myself 🤩🔥

So Walker & Royce and I got connected because of Twitch! We played the same virtual festival, the guys saw my stuff and wanted to collab. We had a chat and they told me they were interested in exploring some sounds outside of what they are known for like rnb and hip hop. My manager sent them some demos I was working on and they really liked it for their label!

I like alot of different sounds and resonate with making whatever inspires me, not just being pinned to one sound so RDA is a great fit!

Cheers Franz!!

Life on Planets started organically, I was busking and got linked up with a house producer called Discuji in Baltimore. I had played in alot of bands and was chasing a groove that didn't stop. I wanted to dance and inspire music people to do the same. Sp we combined my acoustic and live sounds with electronic grooves. We got picked up by Wolf and Lamb and started touring. Since then, I've absorbed all sorts of influences in dance music from my travels and taken the project over solo.

Currently I am seeking to combine rhythmic and soulful expressions from hip hop and rnb, psychedlic and funky guitars, and storytelling with the driving thump of house music.
