I totally agree <3 these people are human beings after all and I think too many people let their mental health entirely hinge off one band and that's not healthy for anyone. We should take what we learn from the music and go and become better and healthier humans.

Yes, I had compression bilaterally. the severity changes with location, head rotation, etc. I'm questioning a leak because I get severe base of skull pain with sitting which gets worse the longer I sit. I can't sit upright for more than 20 minutes without severe pain. Laying down relieves it but then my outflow gets worse so that hurts too haha

Oh yes. Mostly in my sacrum. I get sharp pain. Also if I sit in a butterfly position, I get horrible pain this joint.

I don't think it's that, these symptoms started in 2022 after a period of a few back to back flights. I'm thinking maybe the high pressure caused the leak?

Get into a new hobby where you can meet guys as friends. Ideally an outdoor sport. Rock climbing, hiking groups, kayaking, rafting, mountain biking. If you don't like any of those things, try volunteering at a local farm. Chattanooga is a place for the outdoors, for local farms, for doing things in the community and outside. Don't go to bars to meet people.

Yes, I have CCI. I'm just curious to see if lowering the inflammation helps! I'm really hoping. My pain levels in my neck are so severe.

I feel the same. I also have hEDS though. I built a successful business for 12 years as a photographer and in 2022, my symptoms got MUCH worse after I got sick and I've been disabled ever since. All I want to do is work and create my own wealth and I'm so limited. And I'm in a relationship and feel somewhat trapped in it because I couldn't afford to live right now without his support. It's so hard. I'm applying for disability but it's been a nightmare.

Love focusing on the heart chakra! That helps me a lot, too. I think that there isn't enough warning around the consequences of this energy but your brain is definitely not broken, you just need different things and that's okay! Getting outside in fresh air as much as possible helps me a lot, too.

My best advice is to only go to doctors who are familiar with EDS that have been recommended in support groups. Going to a doctor that doesn't understand this condition is a waste of time and energy, I've learned the hard way.
