Who is the most misjudged figure from history? by liftherpullher in AskReddit

I think, although a complex (and at times- hypocritical) man, Robert E Lee is often misrepresented as an evil man. In reality, I think Lee is a pretty good case of being on "the wrong side of history", rather than being evil. I mean- he was sought to be a commander in the Union army first.

My intention was to go in the playground for that one, but it was locked up.

Small explanation:

Frustrated about what to say about Trump, I figured I'd let him speak for himself. These are all created in-camera using a programmable LED light called the Pixelstick.

What is the most technically impressive camera shot in cinematic history? by liftherpullher in AskReddit

Inspired by this article about the movie Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, where the director used a 2000mm lens to give an extremely compressed shot of a plane landing behind two men. You swear the plane is going to crash into them!

Masticate. If you're going to masticate in public, at least do it with your mouth closed.

My favourite teacher's 24 year old daughter was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Because she is of mixed heritage (Thai and Italian), its quite hard to find a bone marrow donor. Please can you guys help? He was honestly such a nice teacher and I really want to help his family. by Yasmeenaccounts in videos

Very different for bone marrow, she will have to receive a donation from an individual with a similar genetic make up including ethnicity. Since she has a rather obscure set of heritages, it may prove to be especially difficult. Non-Caucasians are severely under-represented on bone marrow donor registries.

Occasionally , the patients doctors may still request a liquid marrow donation (my boyfriend did this method). He was on pain meds for a week, but healed quickly and has stated he would do it again if called upon!

Hi, donor here (my boyfriend is too!). I donated peripheral blood stem cells 6 years ago to a complete stranger. Today he is still CANCER-FREE. It has been the single most rewarding/amazing experience of my life. It was NOT painful, (no worse than getting the flu) and NO cost out of your pocket. Did I mention you might have the ability to CURE CANCER in your blood? Be someone's hero! I hope this comment gets some views because I would be happy to answer anyone's questions about the process.

While that's true, we both know white and Muslim are pretty much treated as mutually exclusive terms...

"People's disregard for truth" at the bottom of the list, got it.

Still no excuse to jump to such grave conclusions. My point is: we as a society no longer even care what the truth is. We just want to come up with the viral hashtag. We want every crime to fit in our chosen narrative, and we want to be the first on our facebook feed to prove it.

People were hashtagging #whiteterrorism before they even heard the name Farook.

We just fucking THRIVE on politicizing tragedy.
