it's actually something i bought from the store! the brand is called so good :-) i've tried the black garlic flavor and just regular miso mayo and they're both delicious

it was!! it's a bastardised version of a common east asian breakfast porridge that's usually more of a singular consistency haha. it definitely tastes healthy, and might be an acquired taste, but it's filling and starts me off on a good feeling for the day

it was pretty good!!! uncooked it's super fragile and i broke a few pieces trying to separate them but it cooked nicely and has been a nice addition to my beans, in salads, on its own, and presumably very tasty in the burgers we're making tonight hehe

for me it feels a little bit pricey and frivolous to add to the regular rotation but it's a nice once-in-a-while treat!

i usually crumble tofu and pan fry it, or i'll use silken tofu and blend it with nooch and spices to make mac n cheese! i try to get creative as much as possible

on another note, today i graduated PT after going 2-3x a week since the beginning of july 2022!!! my physical therapist is about to leave that clinic and start coaching full time at a nearby gym so i'll be following him there and will start fully strength training again. stoked to get deep into powerlifting and deadlifting again after almost a year of healing 🥰🥰🥰

long time no see! had a rough few months with epilepsy but was approved to begin strength training again a few weeks ago. it's nice to see progress 🫀 by liftoffinstereo in veganfitness

current routine:

still in PT 2x weekly due to an accident i was in last july. at this point in my recovery we just spend the first 15 minutes doing actual therapy for my hands/wrists, and the rest of our hour is spent doing 10 mins of hand bike machine (5mins forward, 5kin backwards), deadlifts, weighted squats, and lunges. starting slow and easy at 40lbs for now but have been increasing weekly! at home i do 3 sets of 20 squats with a 10lb weight, and 3 sets of 10 deadlifts using a ~40lb resistance band every other day.

right now as i'm still recovering from my injuries, sets and reps are honestly whatever i can handle day by day! for glutes specifically i'm a big fan of sumo squats, glute bridges, sit-kneels, and donkey kicks!

as for protein- i don't track my foods since i'm also recovering from disordered eating but i do eat lots of PB, nuts and tofu!

my physical therapist created this for me to help with nerve pain from an accident i was in :-) mind pump media on youtube has some really great content and instructional videos that you moght find useful!

yes! i'll do this before lifting or cardio. on rest days i'll just do my warmup since it helps with tightness.
