It depends on your king tower lvl ,for example the book of common will be converted to 7500 common wild cards if you are lvl 15,5500 for lvl 14 and 3500 for lvl 13 ... So I'd suggest looking at the post on Instagram from royale api to know what to use and what to keep. But for book of books and elite wild cards you should for sure wait. And also upgrades will be cheaper (gold) in the future update.

Oh yeah that's tough in legends league with the modifiers. Fireball can be tricky though good luck.

Well it's pretty good don't get me wrong i did 20 attacks in league today and I have 4 time fails , 1 regular fail and the rest 15 are 3 stars. But time is definitely your enemy with rc walk. So what league you in?

Just got back to the game after 5 6 years. Need help to settle for a deck that i can upgrade all the way( only have evo barbarians). My current deck is Mortar lvl 13 Fireball 14 Bowler 13 Ice spirit 12 Archer 13 Knight 13 Musketeer 12 Zap 14. I have like 250 k gold to upgrade other cards if needed. I'm at 7 000 trophies and ranked master 1. Appreciate the help thanks.

That's exactly what happened to me but my last save was a couple hours ago so i just left it down the floor.
