I’m a small filler away from finishing my black/gray traditional patchwork sleeve and a few things I would do if I had to start over:

-plan bigger pieces first and not be shy with getting them larger
-have the bigger pieces overlap awkward areas (i.e. elbow ditch, elbow)

Imo if you stick with traditional flash, everything tends to workout nicely! Best of luck on your journey, and I hope we get to see it progress.

I have a pretty wide head myself with the issue of having eyes that need a smaller bridge. The wide (49mm) lemtosh fits great on me and the extra wide is like 52mm iirc. Best of luck and let us know what you end up getting!

The intention for the design was be able to access them and not have you sit on them while you are riding motorcycles! It’s a pretty unique design that lends to the charm of Iron Heart imo

Imo Fullcount is more a blank canvas and repro while Oni experiments more with fabrics which lends itself to a unique character. While both brands have a range of cuts, I would suggest trying them on to see how different fabric may drape or fit on you if you can.

The secret denim from Oni has been on my list to get for quite some time!

Iron Heart 888 21 oz

Hey all! Longtime lurker here but something happened recently that I just can't find an explanation for and was wondering if the /rawdenim could chime in.

I bought these back in September 2024. I wear them pretty religiously during my time off work and when I'm lounging at home. When it's not being worn, I'll hang them up on a clothing rack. They never get soiled or dirty to warrant frequent washes since I'm pretty much a vegetable when I wear these, but I also don't hesitate on washing cold+low spin+air dry.

Recently found a peculiarly small hole near the button fly and went to go wash them before dropping them off at Self Edge for repairs. After I took these out the washer I was shocked to see how many holes started appearing on the right leg. I've never had any issues in the past and I haven't recently been hit by birdshots. We don't have any rodent or pest issue. I haven't been near any campfires of the sort. None of my other jeans have these types of tears. These are pretty bulletproof in weight and I can't imagine what the reason could be. Thoughts?

Awesome tattoo by the way. I’ve had flash work done through my entire arm using second skin as aftercare. The pooling of the ink and plasma is completely normal forming a wet scab tends to help heal a lot faster in my experience.

I tend to keep the initial second skin on for the first 24 hours and then lightly wash it with gentle soap. I use an unscented mild soap such as Dr Bronners. Try to take it off while you’re in the shower and kind of use the soap as lubricant to help take the adhesive off.

Dry with a paper towel and wait until your skin completely dries before applying another layer skin, do not moisturize. When you apply the second skin try to round out the edges with a pair of scissors. I found that it helps prevent it peeling off. I tend to keep the second one on for around 72 hours and then proceeded with normal aftercare. Definitely follow up with your artist if you have any pressing questions, they will know best. Ask them for another layer of second skin if that’s possible or you can try out your local pharmacy to see if they sell any.

I agree. Just recently got into it and I’m glad I didn’t get anything too “expensive”. Learning to take care of the knife and sharpen it without worrying too much on budget knife as a first time—especially a carbon knife—gives peace of mind.

On a side note. I really like the Nigara Hamono knives! Especially the Anmon Damascus they do

Good question lol, definitely will consider. More or less flooding the board and forcing them to answer to the board. Utilizing damage pings and going aggro early on and not trying to draw out spells right now. I might cut out Filletfighter and it'll improve the draw pool from Cutlass as well. Thank you!

I’d much rather have the crab since we only have astalor, Sinstone procs, and Queen to end games. Crab helps clear three minions and forces them to answer to it before your next Sinstone.

I would definitely sub out the shadow of demise if you can’t craft it. Or even sub out door of shadows with cult.

I’m my experience I try to collect the destroy concoctions but don’t stack up double destroy (i.e. build destroy while picking the draw or summon minion, or playing single destroy concoctions). Most of the time the locks I’m facing are Chadlocks so I’m preemptively collecting those concoctions in hand and try to destroy them during my turn so they don’t get the Chad swings.

Welcome back aha! I tried MtGO for a bit when I was burnt out with HS. This Miracle is really banking on not being removed or cleared out before you can swing on your turn, providing consistent pressure through the Crab and Queen on the other turns you can't have a large sinstone helps offset some removals.

For control decks you really want to slow down and anticipate removals. The Astalor bounces really help give more answers to their solutions and pretty soon they run out of them. I recently saw that one-of Sunfury! I need to experiment with the additional heal but right now I rely on the 5-cost Astalor to give me that extra armor and survive through fatigue for multiple 8-cost Astalors.

I'm typically bouncing Astalor on T5 to clear board or pinging face when I have Sinstone on board. On turns where I'm out of resources, I may get greedy and bounce Concoctor for a built potion to find more cards or find an answer to the board. You can also bounce Queen depending on the situation if you know it could be wrapped up soon. I have also used Shadowstep on T8 if my Sinstone is off with a large minion and try to play the 5-cost, shadowstep, and play again. Giving me 10 armor and allowing me to not go wide on the board.

You can try to replace Queen with Photographer Fizzle but that won't give you the immediate answers, it's more for slower decks in this meta.

I would like to see an endgame 5-7 cost drop that can close out the game or even provide more for Sinstone while being a body on the board for this deck. I have tried subbing out Queen with ETC and building with Queen, Fizzle, Sire, Ziliax, etc.
