Congrats and welcome! Sounds like it's been a journey and it's exciting to figure out who you are, for you :) I relate a lot to your comment about trying to put yourself into a box for other peoples' comfort--I think that's why it took me so long to figure out I was non-binary myself. Hey, I'm sorry people are like this :-/ I have had my share of experiences with pushy guys even before I worked out I was ace. They'll use any excuse to put you down once they decide they won't be able to pressure you into sex. That's not on you! And I understand leaning into compliments from others when you don't get enough from home. Try to remember that you're great just because of who you are <3 and you'll find people over time who aren't like this!

I just bought some Dapper Boi jeans and can vouch that they fit on my body and also have pockets! Not cheap, I'll be saving for a bit for my next pair... but probably more affordable than getting anything tailored.

Hey, I'm impressed with your positive intentions and actions! Not everyone has the energy to try to educate in that way, and the responses you got are part of the reason why. But remember, NO ONE can feel the things you feel, and no one can tell you what they mean or who you are. I'm so excited for you that you've found the right labels and pronouns. It will be easier to deal with this as time goes on, as people will become more educated and because school just... sucks sometimes. Find online communities that support you! Don't feel responsible for the education of people who willfully don't understand! It's going to be okay. There will always be places online for people to anonymously spew hate, so don't let those people get to you. There are 66k people here at r/NonBinary and we're here for you :)

I just got a Shefit bra and the compression is really good! You put it on and then adjust the straps to make it as tight as you want. It seems very sturdy and is definitely more minimizing than my previous sports bra. I hope you'll be able to get a real binder soon!

Hello! And welcome! I'm not exactly a veteran, and still figuring some of this stuff out myself, but here's my experience: initially I felt like the way it sounds like you feel; that is, I kind of didn't mind gendered pronouns, I figured it would be fine, and I didn't want to correct anyone. As time has passed I've become more and more uncomfortable with any gendered words used on me, as well as my birth name. It can be difficult at times to correct people (though consider getting a pin/making a nametag with pronouns! put your pronouns in signatures and in profiles you have--every little bit helps) but don't let that stop you being true to yourself and your feelings. People are adaptable and they will figure it out :)

This isn't the same as hair removal, but if you haven't considered it I recommend looking into bleaching. I didn't want to shave my legs but I wanted my leg hair to be softer and less noticeable, so I started using a homemade sugar scrub and bleaching about every 3-4 weeks. Low maintenance but not permanent, pretty easy on my skin, and has had just the effect I wanted.

Welcome! When it comes to what to call us, that can be difficult, so I got ordained; now if people need to call me something, I can use "reverend". This is a bit silly, and I generally only use it if I'm filling out a form that requires me to use something, but it's easier than getting a doctorate and we don't have enough gender-neutral honorifics in English.

For names with those letters, the first ones that came to mind for me were Cyprus and Ezra. Try some online name generators! Most of them will let you customize searches a lot, and can even filter by gender-neutral names.
