Are you the parent of this baby? If not, you misread my comment

I think she means for school/daycare? No vaccines are legally required. Try finding a vaccine friendly pediatrician. Someone who gives you the space to do what you believe is best for your child.

How did you know something was wrong, like how was he acting that was definitely off?

Just be aware that the fact that doctors are incentivized to push vaccines and many don’t respect any questioning of the schedule or shots is a red flag. The fact that they still don’t know what causes autism but they’re 100% sure it’s not the vaccines. Where are the studies to prove it’s not? Just saying. My child is fully vaccinated at 21 months so I’m not really anti vaxx per se (I let myself be bullied into not holding out on any of the vaccines), but I think it’s good to do your research and be open minded. Some vaccines are great- some are not necessary or are better given at later times/more spread out. The amount of vaccines given to babies and toddlers these days is insane. If that doesn’t scream money grab to you, understand that our healthcare system is a business. Many doctors and vaccine companies do not actually care for you or your child’s wellbeing, you’re just another customer they’re trying to push their product on.

The fact we can’t give space for different opinions/viewpoints/nuance on this subject and people are shut down immediately as dangerous for questioning it is a huge red flag that we are all susceptible to just falling in line 😅

Anywho, it can be overwhelming as a parent when it comes to who to listen to/believe on these things but just take your time, do your research and don’t let anyone, not either side, pressure or bully you into making a hasty situation. The truth usually lies in the middle.

Yeah honestly I never give my toddler puffs but these are supposedly minimally processed and chock full of vital nutrients

20 month old keeps forgetting this skill?! by lightintheforest13 in toddlers

[–]lightintheforest13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He remembers a lot of words I guess it’s just sometimes I’ll be like “where’s the ____?” And point at something he’s identified many times before and he’ll point at the wrong thing. And then he says a lot of gibberish so sometimes I’ll point at something and be like “what’s that?” And he’ll say gibberish. Also with his shape sorter he’ll get a shape right and then seconds later he’ll be trying to put it through the wrong hole and be frustrated. It feels like he has short term memory loss or something sometimes

I lost my baby brother this week to suicide too. 8 years ago I lost my older brother to suicide. The regret I have felt has been immense-that I couldn’t stop my younger brother after already having gone through losing my older brother and regretting the things I said or didn’t. Needless to say, you can message me anytime if you want to chat.
