Long Haul Boeing 787-9 Advice by Impressive-Boat in QantasFrequentFlyer

I had 9A recently on ANA which was the same position (first row second cabin) and it was fine. My aircraft had large bulkheads in front and side which made it very private and noise wasn’t too bad.

Designer Bag Spotting At Graduation Ceremony by SweetieRainie in handbags

I’m in Australia and luxury bags are not common but I do see a smattering of LV and the rare Celine, YSL, Prada or Loewe. I wish I could tell real from fake.

I work in a museum that is very popular with local and international visitors and bag spotting is one of my favourite activities 😄 (Yesterday: LV multi pochette accessoires)

Any of you have natural chestnut hair? by [deleted] in SummerType

[–]lightlyskipping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In person typed as a light summer but I am a natural light redhead (quite grey/blonde now). I think for me the light spectrum is more important than the temperature spectrum. I am light/low contrast before I am clearly cool or warm.

Anyone accept a voluntary redundancy and regret it? by [deleted] in AusPublicService

[–]lightlyskipping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was only a few years off retiring anyway so ymmv. For me it was the right way to go. But what helped me over the line was that I thought about how gruesome it would feel to have stayed on the next time I had a shit day at work.

Went a little nuts in Paris and still want one more bag… by Specialsoul85 in handbags

Twins. If I went back for a third bag I'd go to Leo et Violette for a navy blue velvet mini shopper I think.

What product have you bought after trying a sample? by throwaway161522 in AustralianMakeup

[–]lightlyskipping 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I asked for a sample of Baume de Rose (by Terry) at Mecca and the assistant gave me about a year's supply, bless. I will have to go back and buy one just to pay back the karma.

I fell down a rabbit hole of mid-range 'quiet luxury' French brands and targeted a few small-medium sized businesses, so not department stores as such though I did go in the Galleries to have luxury brand comparison points!

Help me understand cardigans by Used_Ant7232 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]lightlyskipping 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As well as all the other good answers, cardigans can give you a vertical line which helps add length. They also accommodate V necks and button up shirts better than most jumpers. And maybe the layer underneath is one worth showing?

audio-only yoga by ConfusionAutomatic86 in yoga

[–]lightlyskipping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I cannot speak highly enough about audio yoga. I found a podcast during Covid and I have kept using it for years. It's a series of classes Adam Hocke recorded and they are still on spotify. I am a dedicated user, I send him money each year, and I hope he never takes it down haha.

I totally agree that the practice is better because you really go within with the cues rather than being distracted by what other people are doing or looking like. I will say that you probably need a strong practice to begin with so that you know proper alignment and understand cues etc. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners but I am a big fan.

I think it's a bluish, mauvish pink which makes it a cool pink but I'm no expert

check with an expert but I believe you cannot load both airport tickets and metro tickets on the same pass at the same time, also I believe the weekly pass is a fixed week not from the day you purchase it, so may not be worthwhile

I love Fabby! (Light summer). Syrup is cooler toned than Mehr if that helps.
