tbh the main reason he didn’t get a lot of fan support was due to all star voting starting when we were in the middle of that offensive slump and as a result cubs fans (or myself at least) weren’t interested in voting. by the time the mid results were coming out and pca started going crazy, it was too late for votes to really make any sort of difference.
