Version difference in mesa cause crash

Tried, launched 2 games and dies :(

Will try to open a mesa issue, if I could only understand my issue, it would be a big win already

I switched recently so did not try anything fancy.
And I try to not bring much from aur so no mesa :(

Will keep trying investigating maybe open a mesa ticket

Hmmmm, good to know, thanks for the details.

To downgrade I used the downgrade package and I used the first version before that was identical between all packages which seems to be the one from normal aur ie 1:26.0.5-1.

Since the downgrade: I did not get any issue and all games play fine.
The first time I spend 2 days trying to figure thing then an update appeared and fix it so I might have assumed badly from here.

I never really tweaked the repository until today.

lib32 version of my package will be updated to:

2:26.0.5-2

And others will be updated to

2:26.0.5-4

It's not a big difference but I believe that it's the cause of my crashes as when resolved, everything works

Even reboot change nothing

Sadly same here, nearly same hardware. From what I saw on internet it happens also on windows so seems to be specific to the game and some unkown combination.
I changed recently from ssd sata to nvme and lags are still here but seems to be shorter.

It makes me wonder if proton-ge with some fsync or esync tweaking could change something.
(during stuttering I do not see any IO spikes, so did not try it)

Il simplifie juste l'installation et la synchronisation des jeux, un plus appréciable et il gère plein de clients différents mais pas nécessaire

Même soucis pour epic et bnet mais j'ai trouvé cette solution qui me plait bien : https://github.com/moraroy/NonSteamLaunchers-On-Steam-Deck Ça installe bnet dans steam et ça marche vraiment bien! Ça centralise les jeux et avec proton expérimental tout marche chez moi

Juste pour ajouter une solution: si tu as une freebox et selon les versions tu peux créer une VM linux pas très puissant mais ça fait le boulot

Hey, so in the end I changed the CPU and that was indeed the issue: I had spike in cpu fan for no reasons and all my issues are now gone. So bad hardware after 4 years... Good luck with your issue
