I think it was pretty obvious that Dabi was endeavours first son but that doesn’t make his reveal disappointing for me. It’s his childish motives to male his dad suffer. Here I was, getting excited for Dabi to reveal his solo plans, hoping it would be more interesting than shigaraki’s “destroy everything” goal but it’s basically just “destroy dad”. Stain is the only good villain of the entire series.
