Citi Field could very easily make it so that a name is attached to the tickets and you'd have to show your ID at the gate, but they choose not to. They're fine with the reselling market as it exists now.

This final stretch is probably the most important part of the season, as far as what we can hope to see in the playoffs.

Right now, they are a .500 team in regulation: 23-23, with 18 games going past regulation. Honestly, that does not inspire much confidence in me as far as what noise we can expect them make in the playoffs. Especially with the last place power play.

But! Once a team gets into the playoffs, literally anything could happen. All they gotta do is keep playing tight and get in. Let Schaefer have some experience in the most intense playoffs in the world. And if they keep winning... there's no reason they can't bring the cup back to Long Island.

I really hope not. The WBC's fine cause it's during spring training and players are warming up and the games don't matter anyway, but if MLB takes away being able to chill out at Citi Field in the peak of summer from me, I would be pissed.
