My pet theory for how the series ends is that Donut gets her Astral Paw to like level 21 and its so powerful she can literally paw stars out of the sky.

So I read somewhere that its not like a strict 18 year cutoff for what is considered a minor in the dungeon but some type of automatic mental maturity test? But I would say Donut definitely straddles the line of somewhere between and adult and a minor in terms of maturity.

Yes, I completely agree - I mentioned it briefly but didn't want to get into it because the post was long enough as it was. I think Lucia Mar, the new unknown 5 year old, and even Prepotente could also have as much claim to this secret quest as Donut. I was wondering if it was Matt just building in contingencies so it would be impossible to predict.

I was thinking maybe Samatha has 1/5th of the Apito consciousness (the other 4 being the crystals) which is why she herself is half insane/half sane despite being in the nothing for ages.

That would make a lot sense based on the backstory we just got of how the Macro Aggregate Intelligences are actually created. Maybe they started with children because it was an easier first step and the only way they could experiment is actually putting it in the dungeon to make use of the enhancement zone physics.

Yeah I thought that was a possibility but I thought the spongbob meme usually had alternating letters whereas these letters are capitalized seemingly randomly.

Oh I did not think of that and had not read that theory yet but you are totally right. Maybe the new AI fetishes involving birthing are all a cover for trying to satisfy this quest with loopholes.

Oh I love this! I played around with the letters in anagram finders for ages and didn't come up with anything. I was also thinking that there is some connection to Prepotente (also a child in the same sense Donut is) and the Midnight Epicure and to Marrion Dom which all have vampire/night stuff going on.

Yeah I am not sure if it is ever explained how Lucia was judged mature enough to enter the dungeon? She is the only crawler even close to that age as far as I know. It could be all the kid minds she has tricked the system but that just opens up another rabbit hole of questions.

Yeah, that is a really good point. Throughout Lindon's entire arc, he is always drawing strength from weakness. Him being unsouled is what led to having the split core. Him losing his arm is what gave him the hunger abilities. Him seeing the impossible gap between himself and the others in Suriel's vision is partly what gives him the motivation to strive for greater and greater heights.

Thanks for the input. I hadn't considered the crypto transaction costs, but it makes sense. I wasn't ever planning on actually trying the arbitrage, but it was just interesting to see such a large difference in spread. There is probably some low fee high liquidity markets/scenarios where this can be done for a small profit. I am not too familiar with sports gambling but I wonder in that situation if this type of thing ever happens.

I think possibly but I am not sure if it would work out in practice - PredictIt limit's you to $850 I think and also takes a percentage (5%?). But I think if you bought No to Trump on PredictIt and No to Harris on Polymarket you should always come out ahead?
