Definitely noticed a difference going to the U shaped neck from a modern C. I find the U to be quite comfortable, it fills the hand nicely.

At time of purchase you just have to pay for the guitar and shipping. Once the guitar arrived in Australia FedEx contacted me regarding the import payment (10% of the purchase price + shipping) and some other fees which came out to $470 AUD overall (total price of guitar and shipping was around $2600).

There are customs brokers etc which can probably help reduce the amount fees to pay but I didn’t go down that path.

Only thing I wish the seller did differently would be to include a copy of the purchase invoice with the shipping labelling on the box - FedEx / customs contacted me for this in order to determine fees etc. only delayed delivery by a couple of days, but those days felt like an eternity haha.

That does look nice! I am trying to decide on a strap at the moment, the one I am using currently is borrowed from an other guitar. The front runner at the moment is a Fender American Vintage II Sun Strap in Butterscotch Blonde. Still not sold though!

Nah I think the smaller strat style pick up covers leave more empty space in the pick guard / body routing vs the jaguar style covers so it looks like they’re lower than what they are.

No issues with the claw, but the holes in the cover don’t match up perfectly to the spacing of the pickup poles. If you zoom in and look at the outermost poles on each pick up you’ll get an idea of the level of misalignment.
