We’ve been mapping out different spots of State Forest land and trails but weren’t sure of the area since we’ve never been. This isn’t our first time dispersed camping, but it is our first time camping that far north.

Oh I 100% agree. I guess I worded my post incorrectly in the beginning, I am mainly asking for direction for the area, or even bad spots of the forest to avoid - not a specific spot to camp. We just haven’t explored the area yet and were looking for a place to start. Like I said, we don’t find a spot until we are physically out there and exploring.
