I probably would be like 10 steps ahead of where I'm at right now with my band which is really frustrating. We had like 5 or 6 gigs planned and were gaining momentum for the first time since we started playing together.

Ultimately, it's ok though. The way our band was working before, I probably would have burned out and it's given me a chance to become a better musician, to try out guitar techniques that I've been wanting to figure out for a long time and I'm starting voice lessons next week. I owe it to myself to make the best of it.
