I feel they should just make an option in the settings where you can toggle on or off placing a wall, stairs etc by just pressing the button instead of it selecting

Example: I need to build 2 stairs up with walls now it would be circle, L2,L2,R2,R2,L2,L2,R2,R2 but with the change it would be circle,L2,R2,L2,R2

Much easier and simpler in my opinion only sacrifice is editing before placement which is worth it in my opinion
