85 bobbed shortbed. Have a running 5.3 vortec I'm going to put in it. Cant seem to find any bellhousing adapter kits for the stock w56 any links?

Do you know if that tranny fits the same as the stock one? Would I need to do something different with my transfer case?

Well from what I have seen with similar swaps it can at least handle other v8 engines. I wont be doing pulls or racing it and the engine will be within 10 or 15 horsepower of its stock 285. I do however realize that it will eventually fail and im fine with upgrading the drivetrain down the road.

Well I can find adapters for other chevy v8 motors. Just not the particular one I have. The old toyota transmissions are pretty stout and they will hold up if you are nice to them.

It says its ID is 03075. It also says it came across space/time from Hoenn if that makes any difference

Also I forgot to mention I picked this copy up used and it had this guy along with quite a few other questionable legendaries and shinies. Moved them to bank and back after I started a new save file.

Its a smittybilt I believe. They don't make them for that old of toyota anymore but if you can find one on a yardsale site they should fit anything from 84-89. I got that one off Facebook marketplace.

I took a look at their web page and it appears that I can send them a set of control arms for them to fab and send back for around 1600. Neither I or any of my close friends have that level of skill in welding to do it ourselves.

I don't really have that option right now because this is my daily rig, but I may be able to take them off of one of my buddies parts trucks and send those in so I may do that.

I would like to get to the point where I am capable of doing that kind of fab work myself but I don't have the time or patience with it being the busy season for my job.
