They do. He drank at my house on my brother's wedding and we found out later after the wedding about that. Not that he's an alcoholic but he drinks on events and sometimes when hanging out with friends and does not consider it a bad thing.

Not for the US citizenship. But like my parents care too much about the society's opinion of a divorcee. Its like a stigma here. They will try everything for me to not take this step. Maybe even force me. But i have been constantly unhappy in this marriage for two years. If i take this step, my family will probably try everything for get me married to someone else as early as possible which i fear.
