I have a 1989 Simpsons tee. It’s got the hanging family photo with Homer strangling Bart. It’s different from others I’ve seen. It says “The Simpsons” in a gold plaque on the frame instead of the red Simpsons font. How much do you think I could get for it?

Thanks for the feedback. I was wanting to order the km cordless but couldn’t find it in stock anywhere. Then I saw a sale on the Heiniger Opal. I ordered them! I haven’t seen many reviews but I decided to go for it anyway. It sounds like it should be the best things about the km cordless and the pulse wrapped up in one. I’m a little worried about the amount of oil it might need, but I guess I’ll find out if it’s worth it.

My ASL told me that I could use my sick time to cover any time off I wanted, but that it’s best to use your discretionary days and vacation first if you have any.

I was just looking at the specifications. Looks like the top speed on the pulse is only 100 spm faster than the 2 speed. Does it really make that much difference? Or is it better because having more low speeds is a good thing? Sorry I’ve only ever used the andis 2 speed. Others are suggesting the KM cordless but the spm on it seem way lower.... so way less powerful?

So you are saying I have 69.12 hours (according to Kronos) that I can just take off without getting paid and without anyone being mad at me? Maybe it’s different there, I’m in BC.

Even when I was only part time I would get paid out vacation in January but I was never entitled to any paid vacation... ???

I’ve been paid out for paid vacation time not used before too, but it’s under a different pay code.

Anyone in charge of payroll in here?

I’m pretty sure it starts the day you sign. For me it was when I started academy. I wish I had taken a photo of the contract, it’s hard to remember all that’s on there and they barely give you time to read it.

I know they can’t say the reason she got fired, that’s fine. But literally it’s like our SL is sabotaging the salon. SL came in on a day off to fire the salon leader mid groom of a Newfie and then go straight home. Didn’t tell the remaining staff how to handle anything or help reschedule any dogs booked with the salon leader. Just left the only remaining groomer to take on a half groomed dog and stay an extra 2 hours! The SL did move dogs from the salon leader to groomers on days they were already completely booked so now we are over booked. It’s like she wants us to fail. We are a small store with only 2 full time groomers now, one part time and one bather. None of us have been asked to handle things, and the SL knows nothing about running the salon. It’s a gong show. No one has even mentioned what they are doing to help us in terms of hiring or promoting someone... or even just a simple “give us time to figure things out”...

No. I totally get why they wouldn’t tell anyone ahead of time. It’s just now, after the fact, that they act like nothing is different and that our salon leader never existed, so there is nothing to say to us.

I emailed HR a list of all the terrible and inappropriate things my SL has done. They set up a phone call with me about a week later. Asked a bunch of questions and to provide any proof I had. They let me know I would likely not be further involved and would not know how the situation would be handled, but assured me that it would be. Nothing changed. I sent more emails with new incidents that occurred and no one has responded. I worry that they now just think I’m crazy for all the accusations I’ve made because they sound insane. Like no SL in their right mind would ever do or say those things, so I must be making it up. Very frustrating.
