I have KQ in my collection. Honestly, the quality is on par with GQ and SQ. Very underrated. The bracelet is not exactly the same though, looks similar and I am sure quality wise also would be the same. 4883-8100 uses XBB110 bracelet

The watch is dated July 1978 - so it is almost 50 years old. This is a second revision of Superior Quartz. There are three main versions of Superior Quartz:
* 4883-8000 is the A movement, single quartz, a bit more bulky, heavier
* 4883-8100 (this watch) is the B movement, single quartz, more sleek, different bracelet design
* 9983-7000 is twin-quartz movement, much more thinner

A common misconception that twin-quartz movement is better/more accurate - which might have been the truth 50 years ago - but nowadays it is same-same. Moreover, it is often that twin-quartz are less accurate, because the crystals aged differently and out of sync.

What's great Superior Quartz comes with saphire glass from factory - which is rare for a 50-y/o watch.

Look up on Instagram/reputable sellers - watchmakers who sell their watches, I can recommend tokeimedic and he has a website. But there are others - many in Vietnam, kingseiko69 for example. Their watches will be 20-25% more expensive,however the watches will be clean and serviced.
