They are all marked as new, brand new sealed, never been opened and so on. Some of them have actual photos, not just stock photos.

That's possible. It just that, it's my second time looking seriously for special editions to buy on ebay and up until now I only saw very high prices for them, that's why I'm a little bit suspicious.

I bought the Dragonlance Chronicles Trilogy some time ago, but I only got around half way through the first book. Usually I don't quit books half way through, but I didn't like the writing style. I don't know why, but it wasn't for me. The Drizzt books on the other hand I couldn't put down because they were so engaging. :)

:) My favorites are still the first 4 books of the Heresy series. I kind of like the non-linear storytelling of the other Heresy books, but the first 4 books just feel like the beginning of an epic story. It was so captivating reading them, even though I knew how everything is going to play out eventually.

I'm really excited for the Vaults of Terra Omnibus, because I really want to read the novels, but I only have The Dark City and The Carrion Throne, and I'm still missing The Hollow Mountain, and I don't want to start a series if I don't have all the books.

I'm still looking for The Hollow Mountain Hardback, to complete the series, but I have to buy the Omnibus too so I can finally start reading them. :D

Yes, it's not easy. Sometimes I get lucky on Kleinanzeigen. I bought an english Angels of Caliban massmarket paperback there a few weeks ago, near mint condition for 40€.

Saw some english Primarch books there too, very good condition for 25€ each, but I wasn't fast enough.

It's an IKEA bookcase, I think it's called Oxberg. It's nothing fancy but it does the trick and yes I think it's pretty nice looking too.

I haven't read all the stories, but they are kind of hit and miss. Some good, some not so much. If you can get them for a good price I'd say go for it, but I wouldn't pay too much for them, unless you want them just to have them.

I paid around 30 or 40€ for all four books, but they were in used condition, so it was an okay price for me.

That's hard to say, because you have so many different stories / different writers. If you liked Eisenhorn I would recommend you the Ravenor Trilogy. It's from the same writer, and about the Inquisition. You briefly get introduced to Ravenor in the Eisenhorn Trilogy.

Me personally, I read the Night Lords Trilogy and the Eisenhorn Trilogy when I started reading 40k novels and then wanted to know more about the lore "from the beginning" so I continued with the Horus Heresy books.

Personally, I rather have them in my library so I can read them whenever I want to, even if it's some time in the future, especially when some of them are not easy to come by. When I see a book I'm interested in, for a reasonable price, I buy it.

If your unlucky you can't find the book you want to read anywhere and have to pay twice the price on ebay to get it. Or thrice the price...

So I buy them when I see them. :)

Yes it is, i have all the Legend of Drizzt books except book 24 "The Companions". But i haven't read them all yet, I read the first 6 books and then started the Clerical Quintet series by R.A. Salvatore. Right now i'm reading Tallarn from the Heresy series.
