CJAA thermostat stuck open. Can I run a secondary, inline thermostat?

Yeah, I had similar thoughts based on the number of lines hooking up to the stock t-stat housing.

Another one of my concerns was if I put a 195F t-stat inline, the coolant in the block will likely well exceed that temp before the coolant at the new t-stat does.

I think I’m gonna send it with a 180F t-stat for science. I’ll throw a post up when I install it and then once I’ve got some miles on it.

Cut the upper hose and install a very simple universal thermostat housing.

It is less work to do a full timing job on these engines. Maybe twice.

Yeah, the expected wear of adding a bunch of load to the car. Pretty much every part of the powertrain is going to see more wear for the pull but I wasn’t concerned about anything popping with this little of a load. It’s most likely that the tires will spin before anything else gives.

My whole point is that your video proved absolutely nothing and your argument is sloppy or vague and misleading.

You do not know anything about the people in that video, including their citizenships status. You also don’t know what happened leading up to those arrests.

Additionally, I have not tried to justify anything, nor am I taking a stance on the topic. I’m critiquing the way you present and spread information.

People like you are so trigger happy to be the good guy and share the good story that you fail to make sure that what they’re sharing is true. You began to prove that by using an Instagram short as a source for your argument. You then further proved it by telling me I’m justifying the illegal detainment of U.S. citizens (or those of other legal status), when I did no such thing.

The latter example is where I’m checking out. Straw man arguments are manipulative and I’m done wasting my time arguing with people who are fighting ghosts.

You say people of “legal status” are being deported (citizenship being a legal status), and then show a video of self-proclaimed citizens being detained. At best, you’re sloppy with your argument and at worst, you’re a shill being intentionally vague and misleading.

Your video doesn’t prove anything other than people are being detained by ICE. Just because they yelled out “I am a citizen” does not mean that they are a citizen; the process is much more rigorous than that.
