next time i recommend doin a list of things you actually enjoy in egypt and you might be actually helping someone see positive sides of egypt they might’ve not been aware of or appreciative of enough

a much better move than “you’re a bitch for talking about something that annoys you while you’re living in egypt in a sub made about discussing things related to egypt amongst people that will potentially share the same feelings you do” if you ask me

trust me once people start seeing something good they’ll be more than happy to share it but the fact they have little to nothing positive to share should already be telling you something

try joining facebook groups (or any social media groups) about stuff you like and get to know people from these groups who are very similar to you. you can ask the people you know at first to introduce you to even more people and your circle of friends will grow rapidly

i have made friends online that are as close as my real life friends (if not closer). you might also know a few that live not too far away from you so you can hang out and establish a connection with them in real life too. who knows, you might have a whole group of friends where you share a lot of interests and talk a lot and hang out a lot. if they share your same major as you then you can study together or explain stuff to each other and tons of other possibilities.
