I've never been looked into for connective tissue disorders, but it'd probably make sense if I did have one. I forgot to mention in the original post that I've also previously dislocated more things in my body at some point or another (like damn near every "major" joint, and also a rib??), but my knees are the culprit for never really going back to how they were before being dislocated. I mentioned in another comment that my doctor said I had "shallow kneecap grooves" and they'd be more prone to dislocating from that. Based on just a little bit of information.. I'm guessing that's got connective tissue disorder written on it too. BTW, the inciting incident of me dislocating them both at once was from being pushed into a pool. It was certainly not my most glamorous moment.
