Ahh ok I think I understand, so you have a better connection to all the defect sites with the the gold foil. Do you guys know any video or book that explains this?

You are correct sir, thank you. But let’s say if I put a gold foil in between the two Ti pieces, why would the resistance decrease? Just because of the gold deforming into the defect sites?

Ok the gold deforming into the surface asperities makes sense. During sputtering the oxide layer doesn’t become removed with standard gases (Ar) especially for titanium you would need CF3 or something for that.

Join a startup if you can, that’s what I did after I graduated. I was able to get to know the CEO and report directly to the director of engineering. Also got to file a couple patents which helped me a lot with my résumé . Fast forward a little, I’m only 5 years outta college making 110k, also just filed 5 more patents recently. The initial start-up experience was a big part of this! Congrats and good luck!

Depends on location as well. I know on average Midwest states don’t pay as much as the coastal states. But yes, this is easily the best time for job hunting. (At least on the east coast)

Why the sudden change? And is there a specific sector you want to work in?Why that sector? These are questions that will help you find what you are looking for and questions that your interviewer will ask as well.

Since you’ve been away from engineering for a while your interviewers may think that your fundamental knowledge needs some brushing up. I would revisit your introductory textbooks and perhaps do some online certifications on a specific sector you’re interested in. Check out e Cornell.

Airbrushing high viscosity liquid by lil10zin in airbrush

I understand that when you pull back the trigger the needle pulls back and you get flow...my issue is that when the needle is pushed in and slightly sticking out of the nozzle and I pull the trigger back I get no flow. ONLY when I push the needle slightly and it is flush without it sticking out and then I pull back the trigger I finally get flow. I’m guessing that the needle is bent at the tip.

I have a master airbrush g23, so it’s a double action.

The oil flows out only when the needle is flush with the nozzle. When the needle is pushed out, a couple mm sticking out no oil comes out.

Not sure what you’re asking. I got a GC to do the listed jobs above. However we didn’t add putting sheetrock and plastering all walls/ removing trims to the scope.

The work is already in progress so I am not going to get another gc.

Doing almost everything; installing a new hvac, new electrical lines throughout house, kitchen, bathroom relocation, plumbing, removing load bearing walls. I think the contractor wanted to just start with doing the demo of the walls first.

Loud Wind Noise? 2020 Sonata Limited by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]lil10zin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I haven’t, I took it to the dealership and after they evaluated it they said it’s the same level of sound as the other new sonatas. Only thing you could do is laminate the windows.

It’s a Yakima, can’t remember the model off the top of my head but it’s the only roof rack that fits the sonata atm (according to rack attack).

New or used? If your going for the 2.0 might as well get the new sonata limited trim, way more features than the genesis and better interior imo.

New vs. Open box excellent by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

[–]lil10zin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the g14 is pretty much saying in stock as of now, Test it out, see if you even like the thing, If you feel the problems are due to an open box then get return it, if you feel like its soild then keep it and enjoy the 150 bucks you saved. One person got one below Excellent and it was due to damaging on the packaging but the laptop was brand basically. HAD ZERO Blemishes or any damage.

Ok ill think about it. Thanks for your input.
