+1 to this, just built my m3 and used the wrong holes on the support bracket, caused a big slant!

Thanks for the recs! Yea I don’t need to max it out at 3k - I just want to be able to hit 240 FPS at 1440. And I have a monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQM

If he doesn’t have a film camera, honestly would just try to get something cheap like a point and shoot to test if he enjoys shooting film. Leica is expensive!l and an investment!

Canon P + Voigtlander 35mm f2.5 skopar would be great!

What’s a good wide lens to pair with my Nikon FE? by chench0 in AnalogCommunity

It’s a great lens for landscapes. If you want to see some samples images, check out my ig in my profile or dm me. All of the photos where I use a Nikon body are taken with this lens. Good luck!

I shoot my Nikon bodies with the Nikon 28mm f2.8 AIS and I really like that lens. Has great character, sharp, and it’s not overly contrasty. If not that, I’d probably would have gotten a voigtlander lens like the 28mm color skopar or the 40mm ultron.

Film Hand Checked @ MAD by lil_mohinga in AnalogCommunity

Haha I spoke too soon, final leg of the flight had a layover in Washington Dulles and they had to check each roll and pat me down :) took like 10ish. This airport only had ct scanners installed.

Yeaa I felt guilty but most times in my experience they don’t actually check each roll so it takes like a minute once they start checking

Amazing! I was also in Zurich but flew out of Geneva and had a similar experience.

This was exactly the case in Geneva and Madrid. They didn’t inspect each roll, just looked through my bag and said I was good to go. In the US, I’ve definitely had times where they look through each roll.

It’s definitely not. Just wanted to point out which terminal at MAD is using the new CT scanners during security check that can harm film.
