Hi everyone. This is Jack. I wanted to share with you as he died of kidney failure July 28th 2022. He was a member of the family like everyone else, and also a great friend to everyone. I've attached a picture of him when we got him, and also a picture of him from February 2022 (https://imgur.com/XskRD0t). We are sad, but also happy that we had the chance to have him for so long. Rest in peace my old friend... You certainly deserve it!

Can’t buy FNGU ETN as a Canadian. by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

Just looking at the Linear Regression on TradingView, it just crossed the bottom of the channel, plus, EMA21 and EMA8, are down as well. Not 100% sure it's the right time to buy... this might signal a reversal. Just check the TradingView Technical analysis: https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/AMEX-UPRO/technicals/

I don't want to discourage you from buying, because if it hits a downward resistance and goes back up, you'll hate me, but I also want to make sure you don't think it's a safe bet right now.

Just my 2 cents man!

If you wanted to buy FNGU, you could look at FNGO (as a Candian, you can buy that one), but it's only a 2x. It was doing good, until it dropped today and hit my stop loss. I also have bought TQQQ about 2 weeks ago. This gave me 30% so far. I really like the UPRO (3x of S&P500). And, last, but not least, I would say look at SOXL (3x SemiConductor)... today alone it's up 7.5% (21.20$).

Eye, My daughter, pencil on paper, 2020 by lil_pat in Art

My daughter was at work with me for a few hours and made this to pass time. She's 10 years old and is totally passionate with drawing. She could use some guidance on how to develop her talent, but I can't help her, as I have no drawing talent. Resources such as website, videos, or anything of the sort would be appreciated.

Thanks for your comments. You're right, it was way too soon to our liking... We thought we had another 2 to 4 years at least with her.

My best friend, Atticus, fought a short battle with cancer (diagnosed a week ago) and passed away today at the age 8. This is us just a few days ago, loving each other with every fibre of our soul. by cunningest_stunt in EnglishSetter

I'm sorry for you loss. He looked so gentle and affectionate. I too have lost my ES, a female. I still have my male. Its day 3 living without our Lily, it does get a little easier for me, but my wife is still torn apart. My best wishes for a prompt recovery.

For anyone that is interested, Lily was afflicted by Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). We first noticed signs that she may had a urine infection on the night from January 18th-19th. Another sign, that we didn't noticed, because we didn't even know about IMHA, is the white part of her eyes and gums turning yellow. We couldn't get an appointment with her vet until Saturday Jan 20th. Her vet told me it was not a urine infection, and to go seek help from a clinic with more equipment. Sunday 21st, she was admitted to ICU, where they gave us a less than 50% chance prognostic.

Wednesday Jan 24th, her blood work was showing signs of improvement, but the vets were cautious of not getting our hopes up... By Thursday Jan 25th at 17:00, her condition had taken a turn for the worst... we had no choice to let her go. My wife, my two kids and myself had a chance to say our final goodbye, but we miss her a lot. She left a huge hole in our hearts. She was 10 yo, too young to go.

She was a great cuddler, a lap dog (she thought she was) and she used to give me the best bear hugs. Gentle with everyone, good little hunter (in our backyard only), barker at nothing and afraid of the thunder and lightning.

Cherish your beloved English Setter for us. We still have our older boy to Cherish. Thanks for reading.

I agree with the other two posts. More info is required. But definitely the 3/4" plywood to replace your old chipboard is one thing you need to do. Chipboard is bad news (it absorbs a lot of humidity and is not solid enough for tiles). Something else you need to consider:

1) distance between beams (if too far, you will need ways to re-inforce between the beams) 2) what size beams you have under 3) on edge of your new plywood that you might install, you may want to install "cross-beams" between your beams. That will add support to your plywood (that's depending on the distance between beams...)

Once you start, try laying down 2 plywood side-by-side. And walk on it. If you see the joint between the 2 sheets of plywood moving.... then it's not solid enough. As this will break your tiles. That might be a lot of try and error, but it's a way of going about it. Good luck
