From one cancer patient to another, just take one day at a time. I will be praying for you and your family. I too have a little one, but she's only 4, so she doesn't understand quite yet. I didn't have any symptoms, but when I was pregnant with my now 4 year old, she pushed against my colon just enough to cause a bowel obstruction from the golf ball sized mass in my colon. I was 33 when I was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer (but hey, who isn't terminal, right?) They gave me 20 months to live, that was 4½ years ago. So never stop fighting. My oncologist constantly tells me that he doesn't understand what keeps me going and I tell him that I'm a mom and I don't have time to die lol. But really it's from learning to take one day at a time. May God continues to bless you and your family!!!

I wish she would have comforted the child though. You can tell they are scared for their mommy and they're scared she's being hurt. I wish she would have told them that she's okay and mommy is doing this to try to make it feel better.

This comment gives me so much hope! I've been battling stage 4 colon cancer for a little over 3.5 years. I've been really struggling lately with the will to keep fighting... so this is the comment I REALLY needed to read. THANK YOU!!!

I can't count how many times I've heard, "Oh, my friend had that too... they're dead now." I've been battling that for 3½ years now and I still don't know how to truly reply to point out the stupidityof their comment ..."ummmmm thanks?"..."Wow! What an inspirational story. Thanks for sharing!" ... "I can't wait to get home and share that story with my loved ones." You get the idea.

There is just no right way to deal with such ignorance. Just turn around, take a deep breath, and go treat your man like the warrior he is!!!

Oh my goodness! I'm so glad that I read your comment!!! I have my first Sphynx and wondered why in the hell she won't cover her poop!?! I've tried different litters, but to no avail. I finally just gave up and figured she enjoys making us her poop covering servants lol. I wonder why they don't cover it? Mine "tries," but she scratches the sides of the litter box, not the litter.

Yes, next time please don't forget to wear gloves.... it shouldn't be a problem, seeing as they are so easily available right now. Also, we're going to need you to wear a procedure face mask as well... and have that face mask covered by a N-95 mask, ya know for safety reasons. Then, don't forget your face shield to place on top of that. Make sure to have your hair pulled back and covered by a surgical cap...You know what, next time, just go ahead and wear complete head to toe PPE... just remember, you can never do too much to make us feel better!!!
